Overlooking a serene sculpture garden, it’s perfect for long, lazy mornings, fireside evenings, and stargazing from the hot tub. A landscaped communal path on the development leads down to the water’s edge, where you’ll find a jetty and amphitheatre, ideal for launching a canoe to explore the nearby islands. While the area around the cottage is still evolving, with some nearby construction taking place during the day, the home itself is fully finished and beautifully equipped. It’s best suited to six adults and two children, offering an idyllic base for exploring Dorset’s stunning coast, woodland trails and wild open skies.

Canoe Cottage

If you’re looking for a tranquil waterside retreat, your search is over. Nestled next to Beaumont Lake, this home even boasts its own canoe launch platform, perfect for those who are happiest out on the water. With homely interiors, you’re promised a comfortable stay, but it’s all about the outdoor space for us here. Whether you’re swinging in the double hammock, soaking up the rays on the sun deck, or firing up the gas barbecue to enjoy an alfresco meal on the private roof terrace overlooking the park, you’ll feel completely at home. 

Spirit of Dorset

There’s adventure in abundance at this home within a lakeside holiday park. You can launch kayaks and paddle boards from the lakeside beach, spend days playing tennis or swimming in the shared pool, or indulge in a spa session. With forest playgrounds, biking trails and a rooftop bar all onsite, it’s a great spot for families. A state-of-the-art kitchen has everything you need for self-catering and dinner can be served al fresco, on the private terrace. A wood-burner in the open living area keeps things cosy.  

The Arty Cottage

If you love history, this former transmitter bunker serving RAF Ringstead during the Second World War will really appeal. Now a Grade-II listed home, it has stunning views over the sea from both the south-facing terrace and the living space. With its original concrete walls, there’s a modern loft vibe here and there are creature comforts such as underfloor heating and a log burner. Located on the owner's dairy farm in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Ringstead Bay, you’ll be just two fields away from the sea.

A Cottage by the Sea

This stylish lakefront escape makes the most of its setting. Set on a luxury private estate within an extensive nature reserve, it's all sweeping countryside views and laid-back luxury. The open-plan kitchen and living space is perfect for entertaining, flowing seamlessly onto a generous garden with outdoor dining, comfy seating and a BBQ. Upstairs, the master suite has its own balcony for slow mornings with coffee and birdsong. At full capacity, two guests will share the sofa bed in the TV room. There may also be some nearby construction during the day, but the access to the on-site pools, spa, and nature trails makes every moment here feel like a breath of fresh Dorset air.

Lakeside Drift

Situated on a holiday park in West Dorset, this family-friendly home overlooks the lake and provides comfortable spaces for the whole group to kick back and relax. Outside, there’s a large deck with lounge seating and although there isn’t an alfresco dining table, the kitchen diner’s sliding doors open wide for an indoor-outdoor living experience. Guests staying here have access to a range of communal amenities, from forest playgrounds to a spa. And if you’d like to explore a little, rent bicycles for a ride around the surrounding area or jump in the car and take the twelve-minute drive to Eweleaze Beach.

Ivy & Sage

Tucked away near Silverlake’s Sculpture Garden not too far from Dorset’s celebrated coast, this contemporary cottage combines the amenities and comforts of modern living with the traditional feel of cottage living. Inside, it’s all clean lines and calm tones, with a log burner for cosy nights and a sociable, open-plan living space. Upstairs, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms with private balconies overlooking the garden – perfect for morning coffees or quiet stargazing. If you’re ready for a spell of easy countryside living, then this is the cottage for you.

Silver Lake Cottage

This bright and beautifully designed lakeside home is a dream base for exploring Dorset’s coast. Set in a private estate nestled in a nature reserve, you'll have access to a heated infinity pool, spa, roof bar, water sports and more. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame stunning views, while the open-plan living space, log burner, and cosy TV snug make it just as inviting inside. Step out to your private terrace for a soak in the hot tub or fire up the pizza oven for lazy lunches and sunset dinners. The stylish interiors are complemented by clever design, although the home may be best suited for a maximum of eight adults and four children. With nature all around, this is a stay that feels both luxurious and grounded in the great outdoors.

Lakebound Retreat

Set on a luxury private estate in a nature reserve, this home is an ideal retreat. The Jurassic Coast is a short drive away, or take full advantage of the resort's communal facilities. There’s a heated infinity pool, a spa, a gym, and a rooftop bar. Additionally, there's a tennis court, table tennis, a forest playground, cycling trails, woodland walks, and a lakeside beach, all contributing to the perfect getaway. The home also features a private garden. Inside, there’s one thing to note – bedroom three has bunk beds and the top bunk is only suitable for a child. The accommodation spans two levels, and we especially love the log burner in the open-plan living room, adding to the cosy atmosphere.

Lakes & Beaches

This family-friendly home in West Dorset is a true gem for adventure-seekers, with plenty of communal amenities, including a heated infinity pool, a spa, tennis courts and water sports. Plus, at the property, you’ll find a private jetty and an EV charging point. Views of the lake and Wakeling Island are to be enjoyed from the abode’s enclosed decking area and first-floor balcony, or if the weather’s not on your side, the living area is a comfortable place to relax, thanks to the log-burning stove. 

Dorset Daze

If you’re in search of a luxurious lakeside escape, look no further than this West Dorset home. Nestled in an expansive nature reserve, this is the perfect base for a fun filled, relaxing family getaway. There’s a private terrace for sunset drinks and a living room with a wood-burning fire for cosy movie nights. And when it comes to adventures and activities, you’ll be spoiled for choice. There’s a shared heated pool, a spa, a gym and a beach. The communal jetty is right next to the house and there are some lovely woodland walks in the reserve. You’ll also find a takeaway pizza shack and a bar terrace.
