With sweeping panoramic views, you'll be transported to a world of unbridled beauty & comfort. The accommodation boasts a spacious interior designed to accommodate up to six guests in style. The living room compromises of an inviting fireplace, TV & comfortable décor, allowing the perfect opportunity to unwind in a calming ambiance after a day of adventure or rest. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped with a state-of-the-art fridge-freezer with additional Smart TV, alongside everything you need to cater for the families' culinary desires. A delightful outdoor area is also situated at the property, perfect for al fresco dining & barbecues.

The Peak of Perfection

Built in 1865, this romantic spot features panoramic views of the Shropshire countryside and Welsh borders. Offering a unique stay, as it's not every day you get to stay in an old fort tower, the best view in the house is from the rooftop terrace or the top-floor sitting room. With a wood-burning stove creating a cosy atmosphere, it's the perfect place to retreat to after country walks on the estate. The estate boasts 1,000 acres of parkland and is home to other historic holiday rentals too. Since there's a restaurant on-site, you needn't have to lift a finger while staying here. Plus, you'll find plenty of activities for guests to enjoy, including fishing, tennis courts and woodland adventure playgrounds. 

Beaming Winter

This home is a grand estate located in Shropshire, featuring a stately home and seven unique historic holiday properties. The main house can accommodate up to 54 guests in 28 rooms, all with en-suite or private bathrooms or shower rooms. Guests will receive 5-star service from butlers, chefs, and housekeepers during their stay. Private use of the house includes a 4-course set dinner with coffee and petit fours, overnight accommodation, and full English breakfast with a selection of newspapers. The estate offers numerous outdoor activities like Woodland Adventure Playground and Miniature Railway for children to enjoy. Additionally, guests can explore the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site, historic Chester, and foodie destination Ludlow nearby. The restaurant located within Weston Park serves breakfast, light bite lunches, coffee, homemade cakes daily and offers an à la carte dinner menu on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Olde Shingle

Once a gardener's workshop, this renovated apartment places you in the heart of a sprawling estate, with gardens and wooded areas waiting to be explored. Neighbouring homes are also available, so it's ideal if you're travelling with a group – that said, the home is perfect for a romantic retreat, with the large freestanding bathtub, exposed brickwork, and wood burner creating a cosy nest. The welcome hamper from the nearby restaurant is a nice touch, and you can even book a meal to be served up as you first arrive – now that's what we call a warm welcome.

The English Embroidery

This luxury detached holiday cottage is a perfect romantic getaway, located in the picturesque village of Over Haddon in the Peak District National Park. The cosy yet spacious interior is designed with many luxurious features including a limestone wet room, dressing room, boot room and log burner. Guests can relax in the large conservatory while enjoying views of the verdant English countryside. The property is close to Bakewell, famous for its pudding and home to one of the country's oldest markets. Nearby is Chatsworth House, home to the Duke of Devonshire and where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned. The cottage is ideal for ramblers wanting to explore the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. The property sleeps two guests in a double bedroom with a 6' super king-size bed. It has wi-fi, parking for two cars and a cottage rose garden and paved patio. Children and pets are not allowed, and there is a minimum three-night stay with Monday and Friday arrivals.

Come evening time, there's no better spot than the fairy-light lit alcove to watch the sun set over the horizon. 

Nestled within ten minute's walking distance from the village of Rowsley, take afternoon strolls along the River Wye, or lace up your boots and hike to Nine Ladies Stone Circle on Stanton Moor. Further afield, you're just a ten-minute drive from the picturesque and historic market town of Bakewell, and five minutes from one of the country’s finest estates, Chatsworth House, home to an impressive art collection, beautiful gardens, water features and acres of park and woodland.

The property is the principal house of the stunning development known as Apley Park. Standing in glorious rolling parkland, with an outlook over the River Severn, this Grade II listed property exudes elegance and charm. With eight spacious bedrooms and state room interiors featuring ornate plaster ceilings and large sash windows, guests are treated to luxurious accommodation and breathtaking views. The master four-posted bedroom suite offers a sitting room, en suite bathroom, and views across the gardens. Guests also have access to a cinema, gym, sauna, games room, and large kitchen. Whitmore Castle

This stylish 2-bedroom apartment is the perfect place to stay for your next trip to Bakewell. Located in the heart of the town, you'll be close to all the action, but still have your own private space to relax in. The apartment features a mix of antique and contemporary decor, creating a unique and cozy atmosphere. The spacious living room is the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring, and the fully-equipped kitchen is ideal for whipping up a home-cooked meal. Both bedrooms offer a peaceful night's sleep, and the secure free parking is a rare bonus.

Bakewell Bliss

Anyone looking to disconnect and recharge in a beautiful location will love this cosy apartment. Set within the grounds of a Grade II listed Georgian house, you’ll be welcomed by peaceful gardens and a wonderful sense of character. It’s worth noting there are steep stairs leading up to the main floor and the garden is shared with the owners, but there are plenty of quiet spots to discover and you will have access to a private hot tub (with views overlooking the orchard). Breakfast is included, children’s amenities can be provided and you'll find a lot to explore in the surroundings – Market Drayton is just over a mile away. 

The Garden of Tranquility 

This cosy cottage perfectly marries authentic farmhouse design with modern comforts. High-quality fittings and contemporary furniture is touched by the charm and character of traditional farm buildings. 

The quaint, stone exterior exudes a homespun quality, yet the cottage flourishes with modern luxury once inside. Think chairs made with Italian leather, a smart TV with multiple streaming platforms and a huge L-shaped sofa flowing along the exposed brick walls. There's also a stylish breakfast bar to sit with a morning cup of coffee and slowly wake up amongst the tranquility. 

Unique, neatly designed and homely, it's the type of home that breathes a sense of calm into your body. However, that feeling of calm changes to excitement once you enter the games room, featuring table tennis and a pool table. Kids can spend hours switching between the two, and the adults usually fancy a game too. 

In the summer months, the games continue outdoors. Your hosts can provide equipment for football games and rounders, encompassed by the sweeping beauty of the rolling hills. 

If you'd prefer a slower pace to the day, simply sit in the garden with a glass of wine and admire the stunning view. But we do suggest getting your walking boots on for at least a day or two – the sprawling beauty of the Peak District deserves to be explored. 





A Modern Character

With 9 acres of sprawling, green gardens at your disposal, this home right on the edge of the famous Peak District offers respite and restoration. Architecturally designed, the fact that it’s rounder than your average house not only makes this place unique, but it offers incredible views from almost anywhere inside the home. You can, of course, also slide open the door that separates the lounge from the outdoor patio and let some of that Derbyshire goodness drift in on the breeze. Forget about time as you amble around, heading to the compact kitchen for a cup of freshly-brewed coffee before sinking into the sofa without a care in the world, the sounds of mother nature a welcome lullaby. 

With board games on offer, you might take to the living room floor for a game or two in front of the crackling fire, but you’ll most likely want to spend most of your time outside. Kids have ample space to run around whilst you supervise from the garden chair with a glass of wine. Barbecue as often as possible or wander the grounds in search of the perfect picnic spot. 

The heated indoor swimming pool is yours for half of the day – make the most of it by playing shoulder wars or marco polo in the clear blue waters. With many walking routes, you’ll be able to see as much of the surroundings as possible, and all at your own pace. Try the Woodside to Chatsworth circular so you can stop off at Chatsworth Stables for a coffee. 

Explore the Peak District, visit the historic Haddon hall, and see the waterfalls – golfing enthusiasts might also want to visit the Bakewell course a short drive away. 

Where the Wind Vane Blows

Dating back to the 19th century, this barn in the White Peak area of the Peak District has ben given a new lease of life in recent years. No longer used for farmyard storage, it's now a country getaway full of luxurious touches.

Save for the sections of exposed stonework, you wouldn't be able to guess this home's true age. The design is contemporary but definitely rustic in flavour, with bare floorboards, artfully weathered wooden furnishings and a Scandinavian-style wood-burning stove that's the ideal companion to return to after a long bout in the great outdoors. The svelte rolltop bathtub upstairs is another way to get toasty and warm, too.

As you can probably guess from looking out through the glass doors to bucolic views of rolling countryside, you're not short of walking routes and picturesque scenic points in the immediate locale. The historic market town of Longnor only takes five minutes to reach in the car as well and offers a one pub, coffee shop & village shop.
