A stay in this home means you won’t have to travel far to discover the historic heart of Shrewsbury. Located in the centre, it’s just a short stroll to iconic sights and the River Severn. You’ll also be spoiled for choice when it comes to local cafes and restaurants. Paid parking is available nearby and you’ll find all the amenities you could need within walking distance. It’s worth noting the apartment is on the second floor with no lift access, but once inside it’s easy to relax and unwind. There’s a little terrace for warm weather drinks and the living room is perfect for cosy evenings at home.

Your Serenity

This cottage in Stratford-upon-Avon is a hidden gem that combines modern and traditional styles to create a cozy and comfortable space. With three bedrooms, a stunning family bathroom, and two WC rooms, this cottage is well-equipped for your stay. The living room has a wood burner, and the spacious kitchen is perfect for preparing meals and enjoying them with family and friends. Glass doors open out to the patio and lawned garden where you can enjoy meals at the wooden table and chairs. Upstairs are three stylish bedrooms, two doubles and a single, to suit a number of different groups. A short walk takes you into the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon where you can enjoy shows at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre or venture further afield into the Cotswolds.

A Touch of Shakespeare

With beautiful views across the Shropshire Hills, this Grade II listed barn offers the perfect opportunity to slow down and savour the best of rural living. You can savour the fresh air from the terrace and there’s a barbecue for warm weather days. Inside, you’ll find the wood burning stove sets the tone for cosy gatherings, and one of the en-suite bathrooms features a freestanding bath for long relaxing soaks. It’s also a fantastic base for exploring this beautiful countryside with wonderful local walks and historic sights – Shrewsbury and the River Severn are within easy driving distance. 



Cherry House

It's impossible not to fall in love with this stunning barn, situated on privately owned farmland on the edge of Alcester. The main living space, with its impressive vaulted ceiling, is stylishly decorated in a neutral palette with the occasional pop of hot pink. The open-plan layout lends itself to socialising, so everyone can gather and catch up over some fizz and nibbles. Or, if the weather is nice, head outside onto the terrace to grill up a feast on the barbecue and dine alfresco as you watch the sunset together. The hot tub is perfect for a soak after dark, and you might even spot some distant stars and planets on a clear night. Don't forget your walking boots – there are 550 acres of farmland to explore and neighbouring Oversley Wood has plenty of beautiful trails through the trees. Culture fans will also be delighted to discover that the charming town of Stratford-Upon-Avon, famous for being the birthplace of Shakespeare, is just eight miles away. And, at the end of your day out, you can stop in at the local pub for a refreshing pint – it's just half a mile away from your front door. 

The Village Hideaway

A unique architect-designed home, this house is set in a Grade II listed area and has stunning views of the Cotswold National Park. Outside, there’s a lawned garden (unfenced) and a hot tub – the perfect place to relax. Inside this home, set over two levels (with a spiral staircase), you’ll find a cosy lounge with a fire. One thing to note, the ground-floor bathroom is quite small, but there are two other bathrooms here. With the charming village of Blockley nearby and the historic market town of Moreton-in-Marsh, you'll have plenty to explore.

Cotswold Honey Coloured Cottage

On the border between England and Wales, this little eco hut sits in the splendidly named hamlet of Burlingjobb. There’s nothing but the cheep and pip of birdsong and the occasional bleat of a lamb here. The curve of the cabin’s roof reflects Hanter Hill opposite, and each cabinet and window frame has been crafted from local cedar and douglas fir. The living room and kitchen has everything you need to unwind in an evening, including a hand-made kitchen and sofa tucked under the gorgeous floating staircase. Heating comes courtesy of infra-red panels, a nod to the environment and, as the cabin is kept cosy, you can select a book from the little library and take things back to analogue. Glass doors lead out to a deck with a fire pit and barbecue. The real highlight is the master bedroom, dappled with botanica and with a picture-frame window looking out over the garden. It’s here you’ll find the longest claw-footed tub we think we’ve ever seen – perfect for a soak after a day hiking up to Hanter Hill or the tumbling cascade of Water Break-Its-Neck waterfall.

Hergest Lee

This home is perfect for solo travellers or couples seeking a quiet base outside the Shrewsbury town centre. With a south-facing garden and space for alfresco dining, this home is a welcoming spot to unwind after a day strolling around The Quarry Park. The inside is simple and practical, with lots of room to relax – the kitchen is primed for home-cooked meals prepared with ingredients you picked up from Shrewsbury Market Hall. Location-wise, you’re within easy driving distance of the town centre’s restaurants, galleries and theatres. 

Shrewsbury Shrub

Prepare to make an entrance at this grand country estate. You'll be staying in the Victorian Wing apartment, which was added to the main house in the late 1800s to host visiting guests. Today, it pairs old-world charm with homely comfort – think a tented dining room, four-poster beds, a cosy snug and a games room. Wander through 1,000 acres of landscaped parkland, grab a bite to eat at the on-site restaurant, or set off for day trips to Shrewsbury or the medieval town of Ludlow. Pack your walking shoes (and perhaps a novel) – this is country living at its most refined.

Victorian Times

A small town with an intriguing history, the compact grid system of Caerwys was allegedly the model layout for the first settler who mapped out the city of Philadelphia. But far from its transatlantic, urban sibling, this quaint village has stuck to its rustic roots. At the heart of the town, a five-minute walk from the golf club, four from the 13th century St. Michaels Church, and less than a minute from your nearest pub, this cottage is ready to welcome you home. As you arrive, its rugged stone exterior oozes rural, village charm. The white door beckons you inside, where underfloor heating allows you to explore every room in warmth and comfort. Its cosy, traditional lounge features a wood-burning stove and plump leather sofas – perfect for snuggling up with a classic novel as you sip hot chocolate. But on summer days, the conservatory at the back offers a modern, sunlit nook for sipping chilled pinot grigio. We love the stylish, bi-folding doors leading out to your private patio and courtyard. With picnic benches, a barbecue, alfresco dining table, plus a view of the aforementioned church, you’ll be spending every balmy afternoon in this idyllic spot.

Atlantic Cartography

Nestled in the heart of the Welsh countryside, this rustic holiday home is the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. Once a working granary, this cosy cottage has been converted into a stylish home for up to six people, boasting three comfy bedrooms and a gorgeous, wraparound garden, ideal for soaking up some of that elusive British sunshine. Savour a cup of tea on the secluded patio, show off your culinary skills on the barbecue or throw on your swimming costume and treat yourself to a long soak in the outdoor hot tub as the sun dips down between the distant hills. 

If you fancy something less sedate, you’re within easy reach of the River Dee here, perfect for leisurely lunchtime walks with your fellow guests. Burn off any excess energy with a bracing hike through the countryside, then come home and snuggle up by the fire. We don’t know about you, but we can’t think of a better way to spend the day.

Right as Grain

Snuggled at the southern point of Snowdonia National Park in Sarnau, this quaint abode is made for rural exploration. If you don't fancy the challenging terrains of Snowdon, there are various walking and cycling trails close by to the cottage.

This snug home infuses a homespun and rustic feel with modern comforts. Find stone walls and wooden beams looking into a TV, DVD player and contemporary cooking items. It's the perfect blend of tradition and technology. 

To really capture the privacy and peace of your home, sit out on the garden bench and admire the stunning views. Situated in a quiet hamlet, the only sounds you'll hear are from the animals in the nearby fields.

If you'd prefer to get out and explore the nearby area, the encompassing landscape is blessed with numerous mountain biking trails. If two wheels aren't your scene, Bala is just four miles away and is an oasis of water sports, abseiling and kayaking.

Once you've explored the diverse scenery around your tranquil haven, visit the welcoming pubs and restaurants around Bala. For a real Welsh treat, a Michelin star restaurant resides up the road in Llandrillo.

Bike House

Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac just next to Warwick Castle grounds, this cosy home is an excellent place to rest your feet. Warwick town centre is an easy fourteen-minute stroll away, where you'll find historical museums, independent shops, atmospheric pubs and delicious eateries aplenty. As far as locales go, we think it's hard to beat.

When you're not exploring all Warwick has to offer, make yourself right at home. There's a warm, welcoming feel as soon you step through the front door, thanks to stylish decorations and a plush sofa perfect for sprawling. The TV has Netflix if you fancy a movie night, or if you're in the mood to cook, you'll find everything you need in the kitchen to rustle up a delicious meal – best served, of course, at the dining table, with a bottle of wine and the French doors flung open. During the warmer months, the bistro table in the pretty courtyard invites you to wine and dine alfresco – you can even hear the music from the castle's summer concerts floating in the breeze.
