While the local area can be discovered on foot, we suggest a car for ease – a saunter around Corfu's old town (4 kilometres away) is a must.

Historic Corfu Town is just a twenty-minute drive, and Barbati beach is fifteen minutes away – though, here, you’ll also have access to a small private beach. This villa has everything you might need for a relaxing break. The private swimming pool is perched amid 100-year-old Cypress trees in a garden full of colourful flowers – there’s even a herb garden that you can help yourselves to. Cook on the barbecue on the wooden decked balcony just off the kitchen, and sip drinks from the outside bar. This home is more than a little special.

The other bedrooms are on the ground level, so they're ideal for guests who struggle with stairs – although the style inside isn't nearly as impressive as the scenery. Gouvia, a former fishing village with a bustling marina, is nearby – you're only a three-minute drive from its beach. Corfu Town is also ten minutes away by car.
