From its carefully curated interiors to its terrace geared up for yoga sessions at sunrise and cocktails at twilight, this stylish villa ticks all of our boxes for an unforgettable stay on the island of Kea. We loved the white and welcoming living space filled with retro-inspired furnishings and picture-perfect views of Vourkari Bay. Step outside for a spot of breakfast before jumping into your private pool or stealing a quiet moment for yourself in the charming chapel. When lunchtime rolls around, chop and grill and season and sip with your loved ones in the summer kitchen. 

If you’re itching to explore, the nearest beach is only a fifteen-minute walk away. Or, after an exciting diving lesson at the Suba Diving Club (just a five-minute walk from your doorstep) amble through Vourkari village, home to indie boutiques and a gallery filled with local art.

Slowly Does It

This Greek villa on the island of Andros is a 150-year-old manor house surrounded by six acres of orchard including citrus trees. We would love to start each morning here with some fresh fruit from the gardens, relaxing outside at the seating area near the restored old well, under the dappled shade of a tree. Then, lounge beside the pool, enjoying the views of the orchard before slipping into the cooling waters of the private swimming pool. 

The area surrounding this home is also is filled with hundred-year-old, tall Cyprus trees, and lemon and orange trees. Plus, there is a stream running just outside the property which flows to the sea at Paraporti beach – making it a very beautiful and peaceful eight-minute walk to reach the sands and oceans. There’s even a taverna by the beach if you get hungry. 

The town of Andros is just a fifteen-minute walk away – or only ten minutes if you choose to take advantage of the free bikes provided at this home. Here, you can explore the town, admire the Tourlitis Lighthouse, visit the museum of contemporary art, and dine in one of the many restaurants and tavernas. Or, return to the villa at dinner time and enjoy local wine and delicious food – using produce and herbs from the garden –cooked on the barbecue, dining alfresco as the sun slowly disappears behind the trees. 

Through the Citrus Grove

This stunning villa in the village of Saronida can accommodate up to 14 guests across three floors. We love the unique decor of this home, as well as the incredible unobstructed views you'll get across the Greek countryside. Those lucky enough to snap up the main bedroom will get fantastic sea views from their own private balcony too. The large veranda is a wonderful space for alfresco dining and if you stay here in the cooler months, there are a couple of fireplaces to keep you warm. Guests will have full access to the lush and well-tended gardens, as well as a private swimming pool. We suggest a car for ease – the nearest beach is 2.3 km away.

Water & Sky

Just over 2 kilometres from the beach on the island of Aegina, this villa is a dream for coastal-loving families and groups of friends. With ten bedrooms and bathrooms, multiple living areas, a large dining space, and an infinity pool that seems to melt into the horizon, there’s plenty of room for everyone to unwind. Don’t fancy cooking for a crowd? Breakfast and daily housekeeping are included, or for the ultimate indulgence, you can bring in a private chef to serve up classic Greek dishes under the stars.

Aegina Retreat

This sleek and stylish villa awaits you with gorgeous views overlooking the surrounding area from the balcony. Natural daylight pours in through the large windows, doubling up as doors that grant you direct access to the outdoor space. Put your feet up on the sofa as you watch a movie together on the TV, or unwind with a bottle of red while you read a brand new book. You don't have to worry about missing out on your exercise routine while you're staying here, with a handy at-home gym you can keep your beloved workout routine. 

Cook up a delicious homemade meal inspired by the Grecian cuisine you'll be sampling during your time here. Tuck into the hearty plate of food at the wooden dining table – washed down with a glass of bubbly and paired with a scenic view by the window. Two of the bedrooms give you access to the outdoors, with one leading to the balcony and the other to the refreshing pool. The large windows in these bedrooms allow ample daylight to stream in, as well as provide an absolutely beautiful view of the sunset. Relax by the pool as you bathe in the amber glow of the evening or take a dip as you admire the encompassing landscape.

Head out to visit Althea Beach where you can spend your days by the sea, listening to the ocean waves as you relax under the sun with a refreshing drink. Take a drive along the coastline where you'll find Beach Duni Island – a fantastic spot to take those much-loved holiday snaps. 

Blue Paradise

This charming home offers the best of both worlds, as it’s perfectly positioned between Athens and the beaches of mainland Greece. It’s in a quiet suburb close to the golden sands of the Attica coastline, so you can spend your days paddling in the sea or lounging beside the private pool, if you don’t fancy a day-trip to the Acropolis. The villa is spread over four floors, with a top-floor terrace that boasts sea views. The architect-designed home is sleek and stylish, with floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the outside in. You'll have everything you need for a relaxing break here, though one guest will sleep on a sofa bed. 

The Eyes of Artemis

Like a scene from a postcard, the views from this waterfront villa are pretty spectacular. We could easily spend all day on the terrace, drinking wine in the sun and watching the boats bob in the harbour as the tide rises and falls. Don't even get us started on the Aegean sea sunsets – they're downright magical, and you'll have a front-row seat. 

A former mayor's residence, this home was built in 1850 and has oodles of character inside – think beams on the high ceilings and shutters on the windows. Yet every room is bright, crisp and super sleek, thanks to the minimal decorations and white colour scheme. The design is pared-back on purpose so you can focus on the scenery, but don't let that fool you. It still has all the mod-cons and upgrades you'll want on holiday, including Molton Brown toiletries, Netflix access, flexible housekeeping, an on-call concierge, and the option for private chefs and yacht charters.

And the location is fabulous, too. Whether you crave a night on the town, afternoon brunch or a leisurely morning stroll, this is undoubtedly the best spot on the island – mere minutes from the beach, museums and Mykonos' pretty cobbled lanes lined with boutiques and eateries. It can't get much sweeter than that.

Aegean Twilight

Watch the sky change colours at this beautifully appointed villa overlooking the Aegean Sea. It combines traditional Cycladic architecture – most notably the stone walls and whitewashed exterior – with sleek and modern touches throughout the home. We particularly like the stylish chill-out and lounge spaces that simply call out for entertaining friendly get-togethers and family reunions. 

Encouraging indoor-outdoor living, there's an incredible sense of openness throughout the communal areas of the home when the balcony and patio doors are thrown open, inviting the calm sea breeze to enter in. We love the glossy furnishings, grey and blue colour palette and nautical decorative details that create a sophisticated yet light and beachy feel to the villa.

While we adore the bright and airy interiors, we reckon you'll be spending most of your time lazing the hours away outside on the expansive terrace, complete with a summer kitchen, sun loungers and enough comfortable seating for the entire group. Spend hot afternoons swimming in the pool and enjoying alfresco meals under the shaded pergola. Days end with a cocktail in the comfort of a hanging egg chair, watching the sunset over this achingly picturesque landscape. 

After a great night's sleep in the quiet bedrooms and waking up to soothing sea views for as far as the eye can see, pack your seaside essentials and take the five-minute drive to Otzais Beach. Stretch out on the soft sand before finding a seafront taverna to whet your appetite. 

Just After Sunset

With classic Greek style, this charming villa with its whitewashed walls provides a beautiful contrast to the brilliant blue skies overhead. Compact in nature, it still packs a punch and offers a peaceful retreat on the Mykonian coast. Start your day with a morning swim, cutting through the cool blue water of the private pool as the sun begins to climb into the sky and warm your skin. Suitably refreshed and awake, lay on a breakfast spread for loved ones on the terrace, where you can tuck into your food and cup of coffee as you drink in the sea views stretching before you. 

For a laid-back villa day, recline on a poolside lounger as you flick through the pages of a magazine or catch up on your latest podcast. If you’re planning a trip out, we recommend visiting nearby Elia beach. Whether you choose to swim in the sea, sunbathe on the sand or get the adrenaline pumping with some water sports, it’s a perfect way to spend the day.

Surrounded by mountains with Hydra’s picturesque port just a short walk away, you’ll find yourself serenaded by the magic of island living. And whether you’re travelling solo or with loved ones, this is the kind of setting that will leave you feeling captivated by its simple charm. 

With its origins dating back to the 1800s, the owners have retained the traditional features whilst adding a range of contemporary comforts. From the artwork and natural tones to the personal touches, every detail inspires a wonderful sense of warmth and ease. 

Enjoy quiet mornings with a coffee on the terrace, take a refreshing walk down to the waterfront, soak up the atmosphere from a nearby taverna and admire the scenery from the beach – it's just a fifteen-minute walk away. And for those in search of an adventure, take a boat trip around the island or set off on a hike through the countryside with donkeys as your companions. Wherever the day takes you, this is the kind of home that will make you want to settle in and stay. 

Sage & Blossom 

If you’re on the lookout for a super-house for multiple families, in a spectacular island setting, this is it. Standing high on a hill on stunning Aegina Island, the home is perfectly placed. The 180-degree ocean views are epic from here. But the buzzy city centre is pleasingly close enough just 4km away. 

The villa is set over four levels, with plenty of space for a gang of eighteen. The vibe is relaxed, with lots of colour and homely touches. Families will especially love it here. Table tennis, giant chess, a playground and basketball facilities mean the kids are well catered for. Meanwhile, the grown-ups can recline with a book by the oh-so-chic infinity pool. Heaven. 

If you can drag yourself away, it’s worth exploring this beautiful island. Your nearest beach is Marathonas – its shallow water makes it a great spot for little ones to swim. Or don your best hiking shoes and explore the nature-rich mountains where there are ancient chapels to discover. 

Then head home, fire up the built-in barbecue and feast with your loved ones as the sun sets over the ocean.
