The undiscovered island of Diaporos has been heralded as an eco-paradise, cast out in the emerald waters of the Singitic Gulf. Pad barefoot from the manicured Mediterranean gardens of your villa to the soft sand of a secret cove, furnished with loungers. The jetty is big enough for big yachts and sailing boats, so you can charter something extravagant and explore every inch of the island’s coast – you have access to a luxury Pontoon boat, included with this home.

Spend days lounging by the poolside, or soaking up the sun on the huge rooftop terrace. There are double day beds, plush outdoor lounges and dining shaded by pergolas all spread across the immense grounds. While inside, the sun-filled living room is like a conservatory, letting in that panoramic sea view from walls of glass. Yet, with your own private pool, courtyard and sauna back at home, you'll have plenty of space to unwind in scenic solitude. 

The breezy, open-plan living area is modern and fun, while the bedroom upstairs is as comfortable as it is stylish. Early risers can enjoy their morning coffee in the fresh sea air out on the balcony, and in the evenings, you can dig into an alfresco feast on the covered terrace. Finish the day off with a steam in the two-seater sauna or a soak in the private jacuzzi – nothing is more soothing than that.

Whether you want to jet ski on the waves, sip cocktails as the sun goes down or dance the night away at a lively disco, lively Hanioti has something for everyone.

Beach Feet Retreat

A clear blue swimming pool or the crystalline Aegean Sea – the choice is yours at this villa on the Kassandra Peninsula. You’re just a few metres from the beach, yet the buzzing coastal towns of Pefkohori and Chaniotis are both a five-minute drive away. A stone path leads across the lawn to the shimmering swimming pool. Two levels of balconies and terraces give you a choice of spots for drinks outside. The bright and open living area is a stylish spot for the group to hang out and each bedroom opens up to a terrace, balcony or patio. 

Hand of Apollo

Live like a Greek god in this beautiful home, located in a prestigious resort in Pefkochori. Not only is there plenty of space and style, but it also has some serious green credentials – the villa is powered by solar panels. 

The interior is simple yet chic, and makes use of natural, locally sourced materials. Step onto the balcony, and you'll find that the calming ambiance continues – it's the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee. On the ground floor, you can make a splash in the swimming pool when the temperature rises, take a dip in the Jacuzzi, or soak up the sun on a lounger. And, when the evening rolls around, serve up a grilled feast from the barbeque to enjoy at the alfresco dining table. 

The water's edge is just 150m away from your front door, and Pefkochori Beach's blue flag makes it an excellent place to swim. The clear water means it's a good spot for snorkelling, and when you get hungry there are local tavernas lining the promenade. And, if you fancy exploring further afield, head inland to find hilltop churches, quaint Greek villages, and some excellent hiking trails. 

Violet Petals

The perks of living in a swanky resort on the outskirts of Pefkochori are many. Although compact, the home comes with some soothing features like the dreamy Al-Fresco dining area, the hammock and the barbecue by the pool. Not only is Delphinium a mere 200 meter from the private serviced beach, you have a game-room, tennis court and water-sport coaching to keep you busy on days you decide to stay in. Pefkochori by itself has gorgeous beaches surrounded by palm and olive trees and a note-worthy nightlife. If you're up for an adventure, you can always rent a boat to go sailing around the Toroneos Bay. For a true escape, there's the Possidi beach, untouched and with a centuries-old functioning lighthouse. Had we the chance, we could talk all day about the wonders of living in Delphinium.

Delphinium

Located on a hill above the Toronean Gulf, with the Holy Mountain of Athos as a backdrop, this villa is a pretty special place. Part of a small complex of holiday homes with a range of shared amenities and plenty of private space too, it's a great place to enjoy some serious rest and relaxation. 

Step inside, and you'll find a serene space cloaked in soft neutral tones with the occasional hint of blue reminding you that the coast isn't far away. Outside in the garden, you'll find a shady pergola where you serve up tasty alfresco feasts, along with a grassy lawn that's perfect for sunbathing. And, when the temperature rises, plunge into the swimming pool for a refreshing dip. Guests also have access to the resort's gym, sauna, spa, and indoor saltwater pool, meaning you can sweat out your stresses before enjoying a luxurious wellness treatment. 

Hanioti Beach, with its long, sandy shoreline, is only a five-minute walk away and boasts crystal clear waters along with views across the sea. The surrounding village has a range of little boutiques, coffee shops, and seafood restaurants serving up the catch of the day. There's also a pretty park where you can go for a wander and a range of charming bars where you can sip some local wine in style. 

Mountain Rest

Just a stone's throw from the beach of Trani Ammouda, this contemporary villa is perfect for a laid-back stay with family or a group of friends. Ideally located just minutes from the village of  Ormos Panagias, there’s plenty of long stretches of beaches, markets and delicious eateries on the doorstep. We love this home’s stylish renovation, while in keeping with its stone-built charm – extending out onto the upper balcony hosting wonderful sea views. With plenty of space to socialise and proximity to the inviting Aegean Sea, what’s not to love about this home.

Aegean Stone

There are few words sweeter to the ear than 'private infinity pool', so you'll be pleased to hear that this villa close to the Halkidikan coastline has one with a marvellous view of the dazzling blue Aegean Sea beyond.

Rather impressively, this is far from the only standout feature at this address. If the coastal panorama proves tempting, there's direct access to a small rocky beach so you can roll out of bed and be swimming in mere moments. If you just prefer to admire it from afar, you can do so from the seating on the pergola or on the master bedroom's masterful balcony.

There's plenty to like about the interior, too. The open kitchen-living-dining area is a triumph of muted colours and sleek surfaces, while the bedrooms showcase modern minimalist style at its best.
