Modern and luxurious, with a fabulous location just a short walk from two of the area's beautiful beaches, this home is private and peaceful. Set in Dassia but tucked away and surrounded by lush green countryside, it's a great place to get away from it all as a family or a group of friends – yet close enough to walk to restaurants and bars. We particularly love the outdoor space, which is huge and features a large pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, manicured lawns and shady terraces.

Inside, there's a stylish neutral colour scheme using plenty of natural materials like wicker and bamboo. Cool and contemporary, the open layout to the living space keeps everything sociable, with comfy furniture and soft fabrics giving it a homey feel. Cook indoors in the fully kitted-out kitchen, or try your hand at cheffing on the built-in barbecue in the garden – you can eat at the indoor dining table or out under the pretty pergola.

A technically advanced home, there's a home cinema setup, TVs in all the bedrooms and everything you might need if you're doing some work during your stay. But best of all it's just a few minutes walk to the beach, down a private road.

This lavish villa on the Corfu coast is the best of both worlds – a private path leads straight to a secluded slice of sandy beach, lined with loungers and lapped by crystal-clear water and a private jetty stretches into the Ionian Sea for boat charters or just a spot of sunbathing. Yet, you’re just a fifteen-minute drive from Corfu Old Town where you can get lost in the labyrinth of boutique-lined ancient streets, or hit the buzzing restaurants and bars of Liston. 

Apart from private beach access, this villa has myriad things to keep you relaxed and entertained. Plunge into the infinity-edge pool for a cooling dip, or fire up the hot tub to soothe aching muscles with a cold drink in hand. An array of terraces and patios are scattered across the outside space, where you’ll find shaded dining nooks, beanbag loungers to soak up the rays and outdoor lounge areas with sea views. 

The main villa boasts an open, breezy living area where a sleek white kitchen and ink-black dining table are pure zen, and soft blues and teal in the living room remind us of the sea scene outside. There’s a second sitting room which can act as a private office should you need to work remotely – the sea view from glass balcony doors here can’t help but inspire and you can pause for a break on lounge furniture as boats drift by. Those that appreciate a bit more privacy can opt for the garden annexe with its own entrance, kitchenette and sitting room.

This address close to the east coast of Corfu is all about pairs. For instance, there's not just one villa on this four-acre estate full of Mediterranean trees and flowers, but two neighbouring homes. 

They both contrast in style slightly — one is dominated by exposed brickwork and wooden ceiling beams, the other relies on cooling white walls and contemporary furnishings —but both share the same generosity when it comes to living space and attention to detail when it comes to design.

Similarly, there are two swimming pools that, again, differ. Both are heated, but one is L-shaped and the other an infinity pool that looks out over the dazzling sea and Greek mainland beyond. You don't need us to tell you that either is the perfect place in which to relax on a hot summer day. All around these pools, you'll find no shortage of lounges and terraces where you can take a breather in the shade.

The local area has plenty of watersports clubs from which you can borrow equipment for water-skiing, wakeboarding or parasailing, while the golden sands of Glyfada Beach take just over twenty minutes to reach in the car if you want to do nothing more demanding than sunbathing. Corfu Old Town is a quarter of an hour's drive away, too.

We are totally smitten with this stunning Corfu villa, and with just one glance at the outdoor space, you'll see exactly why – the beautiful infinity pool, the flowing white curtains and the views over the hills and houses of picturesque Corfu, all work to make this home feel like a true paradise. It's based in a peaceful and pretty spot, just a short drive from the beach in the idyllic village of Kastania.

Lazy sunny mornings can be spent floating in the pool with a freshly squeezed OJ in hand, while warm afternoons invite you to get stuck into a good book on one of the beanbag loungers. There's a covered dining area here too where you can feast on Greek salads and kebabs, and share a toast to your special getaway.

Inside, you'll find cool and contemporary design that makes the home feel simple yet elegant. We love the natural materials that are blended expertly together with industrial features, creating a super stylish space. You can spend blissful evenings playing some card games at the table, or cooking up feasts in the fully-equipped kitchen.

Still Reflections

With panoramas of the sea and village, this villa is a dreamy getaway on Corfu's eastern coast. The infinity pool immediately drew our eye, but the rest of the garden is just as lovely. A special mention must be made for the main suite, which spans the entire first floor and features three private balconies boasting delightful views. The other bedrooms are on the ground level, so they're ideal for guests who struggle with stairs – although the style inside isn't nearly as impressive as the scenery. Gouvia, a former fishing village with a bustling marina, is nearby – you're only a three-minute drive from its beach. Corfu Town is also ten minutes away by car.

Nestled within a garden of whispering Cyprus trees, this home is a private oasis on the north-eastern coast of Corfu. From here, you can wind your way down to a small beach or adventure further afield to Barbati Beach (just a fifteen-minute drive away). It’s also just a twenty-minute drive to Corfu Town – making this a great spot for those in search of adventure and total relaxation. By sunset, the terrace lends itself perfectly to evening drinks and barbecue meals. Housekeeping is included in your stay and there is a concierge service offering sweet extras like private chefs and massage treatments. It’s also worth noting two of the bedrooms are located in an independent guest house – offering a wonderful sense of privacy.  

The Way of Serenity 

Well, it's easy to see why this villa captivated us. We absolutely love the Ionian Sea vistas from this villa in Corfu. Enjoy the views from the private pool, balcony and dining area. You can also admire the seascape from the main bedroom and the living area. The latter is quite spacious, which is handy as two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed here at full capacity. When you want to spend the day at the beach, nearby Ipsos is a great choice. Or, explore Corfu Town, a short drive from this home.

On Corfu’s east coast, perched upon a hilltop is this stunning retreat. It’s a hard one to beat. The 180-degree sea views are out of this world. Watch them as you float in the dreamy heated pool. Or as you gather with your favourite people around the alfresco table. Happy days. 

Inside, a lot of thought has gone into the details. Carefully curated art hangs from the bare brick feature walls. The pleasingly sturdy stone floors, lead to huge floor-to-ceiling glass doors. There’s that sea view again. Meanwhile, colourful designer sofas are there for slumping on during sun breaks. A Bluetooth sound system is on hand for early evening barbecues on the terrace. Kids are well catered for too. We’re talking PlayStation; table tennis; board games…the list goes on. 

Access Corfu’s majestic old town in 15 minutes by car. Explore its buzzy cafes, bars and boutiques. Or drive for 20 minutes and reach some of the island’s best beaches. This is island living as it should be.

Days begin outside, with a freshly brewed cup of Greek coffee on the decked terrace, listening to the calm sounds of the sea while being gloriously sunken into the wild foliage and sprawling olive trees. After a gentle start, lie back and relax on a lounger with a good book or swim a few leisurely lengths in the infinity pool. When lunchtime beckons, grill some locally sourced meat and fish on the barbecue and feast together in the alfresco dining area. 

When the midday heat picks up outside, you'll find an impressive open-plan space with patio doors and a mezzanine level above to unwind in. It's light and airy throughout the day, while you'll immediately notice the high-end touch that's been added to this bright space – from the chocolate-brown sofa in the living room to the Eames-style chairs in the dining area – this villa will have you relaxing in style. 

When you're not soaking up the plush atmosphere of your home, head out and explore and in addition to the nearby beaches, the charming villages of Tsavrou, Gouvia and Dasia are twenty minutes away on foot.

Located near the picturesque Danilia Village, where one of the James Bond films was shot, this home is just as sleek and sophisticated as 007 himself. Here’s how an average day reads at this sea-facing villa perched just a short flip-flop from the dazzling waters of Barbati Beach. First, slide back the glass doors for some morning sea air on the oh-so-private terrace as you savour lazy breakfasts and freshly brewed coffees followed by a morning dip in the pool.

Next, it’s off to the beach (just 600 metres away) to bag yourselves a spot along the smooth pebble sands of the shore. The turquoise, calm waters here are made for snorkelling and swimming.

Time to beat the midday heat? Then dive into one of the local restaurants set back from Barbati’s Beach for a meze spread and a crisp glass of Retsina. On your way home, you can always swing by the local markets to pick up the night’s dinner (the local seafood is phenomenal here), before heading back to this pristine, newly-built villa. While kids have one last go splashing about in the pool, you can fire up the barbecue to cook up a alfresco feast. Then all that’s left to do is find your perch for a sunset spectacle over sundowners. It's everything you've been dreaming of.

As for location, it's a fifteen-minute drive from Corfu Town, and you'll find Kontokali's restaurants, shops, and sandy beach nearby, too.
