We love the open layout of the living area, as it creates a sociable home, for the entire group to enjoy together. As the apartment is right by Sarona Market, you’re in good hands when it comes to experiencing some authentic culture. The local area is said to be one of Tel Aviv's up and coming areas as the shopping is unrivalled and there's plenty of quality eateries and hang-out spots to lap up around Sarona too.

This elegant apartment is tucked away in Tel Aviv, close to many of the city's attractions and within walking distance to the coastline and golden beaches. Paid parking is nearby, but you won't necessarily need a car here. The location does mean there is the potential for some outside noise, but this can easily be remedied with some earplugs. We'll start at the terrace, a radiant spot that's adorned by comfy seating areas and looks out across the city. Whether you're sitting with a coffee in the morning or a glass of arak at sunset, it's the perfect spot for the whole group to gather. 

Wander down from the terrace and into a light and airy living space. A cute dining table connects the sofa and the kitchen – we suggest settling down here for bites of falafel and hummus before snuggling up on the sofa. 

Once you're well fed and rested, head out of the apartment and explore this sparkling city. Dizengoff Square, home of a sprawling shopping centre, is just five minutes away. On your way there, you'll pass copious cafes, coffee shops and authentic restaurants. 

Head in the other direction and you'll reach the golden sands of Gordon Beach in just a minute. Don't worry if you forget your towel or sunscreen, you can nip home and back in less than five minutes.

If you're wondering where this home got its name, you only have to look at the windowsill — when we paid a visit, we adored the heady fragrances that wafted in from this small patch of greenery.

This huge window in the living space also has the added benefit of bathing the interior with copious amounts of natural light and it's fair to say that the recent refurbishment has been designed to accentuate this asset — the glossy kitchen, reflective tables and white walls make the address feel even more bright and welcoming. Although adults will appreciate this sleek aesthetic, youngsters will be won over by the play corner and collection of board games.

However, with the amount going on nearby, you won't want to be cooped up indoors the whole time. If kids are in the mood for fun, there's a playground in Meir Park a minute's walk away and Tel Aviv Beach takes less than ten minutes to reach on foot. If you're travelling without little ones, you might also like to note that the Rubin Museum and Bauhaus Centre sit five minutes' walk away, too.
