Perched up in the Western Hills of Joshua Tree, this copper-clad desert house feels part luxury stay, part grown-up games room. Days revolve around the pool, hot tub, and panoramic mountain views. Evenings? Usually somewhere between the fire pit, the vinyl collection, and an overly competitive game of bocce. There’s a playful energy to the whole place too, with putting greens, horseshoes, and enough outdoor space to happily lose track of time. Inside, the mid-century styling, vintage music gear, and shelves full of books give it real personality. The location’s pretty spot on as well – around ten minutes from both Pioneertown and Joshua Tree Village, with the national park entrance roughly fifteen minutes away.

Home truths
Due to this home's remote location, you might find that the phone signal is patchy from time to time.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
The swimming pool isn't fenced, and there are steep drops around the home. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's parking for up to four cars here. The roads around the home are unpaved in places and can get bumpy after rain.

About Yucca Valley
Drive a couple of hours east of Los Angeles, and you’re in a different world. Nowhere is that more apparent than Joshua Tree with its many artist residences, rugged rock formations, and stark desert landscapes. Named after the twisted, bristled Joshua Tree, a stay in this little Mojave desert community is synonymous with art exhibitions, beautiful night skies, hikes, delicious food, and plenty of hours lounging about in aesthetically pleasing surroundings.
