The cowboy pool is not available between November and April, so if a dip is on your agenda, plan your visit for the warmer months.
This is a remote desert location, so power outages can happen without warning. It's worth packing a torch and keeping devices charged.
You'll need a car to get around – the nearest cafes, bakeries, and the drive-in theatre require a drive, and there's parking for up to four vehicles on the driveway. Street parking is not permitted.
