After a long day on the slopes, there are few better ways to decompress than soaking in the hot tub beneath a backyard gazebo, with tall pines overhead and a fire pit glowing nearby. Inside, the living room earns its keep – beamed ceilings, a wood-burning stove, and board games for evenings when no one wants to go back out. Bear Mountain Resort is a twelve-minute drive, Big Bear Lake a little further, and the village's cafes and boutiques are close enough for an easy afternoon wander.
