A short drive from both Joshua Tree Village and the national park, this studio makes an easy base for a desert escape. Compact but well-designed for couples, it blends mid-century style with quintessential views. You'll have access to a small, semi-private patio where you can catch the sun. Plus, there's plenty to enjoy beyond your own space – from the shared pool and hot tub to communal barbecue grills and an outdoor fireplace. An on-site retreat centre offers activities and a vegetarian cafe when you're ready to do more than simply switch off.

Home truths
Your host operates several homes here, so the exact view, layout and furnishings might differ slightly from the photos. However, the overall quality should remain the same.
The pool, barbecue grills, and outdoor spaces are shared with guests across all suites on the campus, so you'll be mixing with fellow travellers rather than having them to yourselves. You'll also have access to the on-site retreat centre and vegetarian cafe.
This home has an ADA accessible bathroom, with grab bars in the bathtub.
The shared hot tub is heated in the winter months but not in the summer.
There isn't a TV inside the studio, making it ideal for guests who truly want to switch off.
You'll need a car here. Just note that the unpaved desert roads have a few ruts – though four-wheel drive isn't needed.
Cell service in the high desert is patchy and varies by provider – we suggest using wi-fi calling or downloading a VoIP app before arrival.
The lead guest must be at least 21 years old.
