Perched at over 5,000 feet in the San Bernardino Mountains, this lodge is the kind of place where the views do something to you the moment you step outside. Two private decks frame sweeping pine-forest and mountain scenery – the upper one with a barbecue and heater for cooler evenings, the lower offering a quieter retreat off the main bedroom. Inside, vaulted ceilings and a fireplace make the living area feel warm rather than just comfortable.
