Set against the raw expanse of Pipes Canyon, this desert house puts you at the edge of wilderness – the marked Sand to Snow National Monument trailhead begins right in the backyard. When you're back from the trail, the outdoor pool and hot tub are waiting, framed by open desert and mountain views that will impress at every hour of the day. Come evening, the deck's fireplace draws you outside long after the sun drops, while a second fireplace indoors keeps the atmosphere going. It's a place that works equally well for adventure and for doing absolutely nothing.

Home truths
While hot tub heating is included with your stay, kindly note that the pool cannot be heated.
Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. The house sits on unpaved dirt roads, which can develop ruts – though a four-wheel-drive vehicle isn't required.
Cell service in the high desert is patchy and varies by provider – we recommend enabling wi-fi calling or downloading a VoIP app before you leave home.
The lead guest must be at least 21 years old.
