The pool and spa sit directly against a wall of rock, so you're swimming in what feels like a landscape rather than a garden. As the sun drops, the Sunset Deck earns its name – golden hour here is worth planning your evening around. After dark, a dedicated stargazing deck and a boulder-framed fire pit keep you outside long into the night. Joshua Tree National Park is a twenty-six-minute drive, and Pioneertown's frontier atmosphere is about twenty-one minutes by car.
