Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's free parking for up to eight cars on the driveway.
You'll arrive via a dirt road – it's compact and drivable, but recent weather has left some dips and bumps along the way. If you're coming in a low-clearance vehicle, take it slowly.
The remote setting means occasional unannounced power outages are possible.
Road construction work is ongoing in the area around the home. Be prepared to experience some noise disturbance during your stay.
This is desert country, so you may encounter insects. Keep doors and windows closed when you're not nearby, and shake out shoes left outside.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a travel cot and – with at least twenty-four hours' notice – a high chair.
Pool heating is available from October to April and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. The pool and hot tub can't be heated at the same time.
