Top Secret’s lay-out is unique. It’s actually a studio, but it’s split into several parts, which makes for some private corners. We love the small terrace with nice views of a typical Berlin street, perfect for unwinding after a long day out. The immediate area isn’t the liveliest, but you’re well-connected, and some of Friedrichshain’s coolest hang-outs aren’t too far away. You also get access to a lot of shared facilities – sauna, rooftop, and garden to name a few.

We know we’re picky, but the bedding isn’t as luxurious as we would have liked it to be
