Toasted Almond is definitely one of a kind. The camel colour palette, beechwood, marble counter-tops and high-quality materials give a sophisticated feel. Flooded with sunlight from the balcony windows, you might not want to leave. The private balcony overlooks an internal courtyard with a playground – although the host asks guests to be considerate of noise for the sake of the neighbours. It might not be the most central home in the city, but the quiet residential area is surrounded by parks, ideal for those who prefer a slower pace of life.

This host has a few house rules to keep the home in top condition – some include no loud speaking on the balcony, no food or drink on the sofa, no piano playing after 7pm, and no children under two
