With its New York-like appeal (think exposed brickwork), paired with a minimalist aesthetic and black-and-white photography, it’s needless to say that On Balance is special. It’s a little small (you have to share one bathroom), but we’re willing to look past that minor detail. More importantly, On Balance is in a great location. Tucked away in between some of Berlin’s most famous, and most important, sites, it’s great for travellers looking to explore the city’s historic side. You’ll find lots of art galleries, museums, and the Berlin Wall Memorial within walking distance.
