Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
With its many shared facilities (sauna, garden, lounge, rooftop), Bohemian Chameleon is perfect if you want to experience an authentic side of Berlin. The home itself is also lovely (even though it’s small) – we particularly loved the balcony. The immediate area isn’t the liveliest, but you’re only a short train ride from Berlin’s alternative mecca, Friedrichshain. So, if you’re the kind of person who enjoys art galleries, street food markets, and exotic cuisines, you’ll feel right at home in this part of the city.

Home truths
All of the amenities are shared – sauna, laundry facilities, garden, rooftop terrace etc.
The kitchen isn’t super well-equipped – we wouldn't mind some more utensils and a coffee machine
Not everyone will love the free work-out – you have to climb sixty steps to get to the front door
The immediate area isn’t the liveliest – but you’re well-connected in terms of busses and trains

Friedrichshain’s East Berlin heritage is still an integral part of its current identity with the monumental GDR-era boulevard, Karl-Marx-Allee, being one of the main arteries through the neighbourhood.
