Retreat to this snug and stylish cabin after a day on the slopes at Bear Mountain. Sequestered in the forest and close to Big Bear Lake, this two-bedroom home is perfect for those families looking to get outside in both snow and shine. It’s not just the gambrel-style architecture that gives this 1970s home its charm, but the rustic and industrial interior. Pull back the bench at the dinner table and warm your snow-covered toes in front of a roaring red brick fireplace. We especially love the farmhouse-style combination of wood and white-panelled walls. Entertaining the children is easy in this home, with board games, foosball, a BBQ and hot tub. Though, we think adults may prefer to make a beeline for the tub first and steal a moment of peace. Don’t forget to bring along your pampered-pooch, this home is dog friendly.
