This desert home is full of thoughtful design touches. Your hosts have a great eye for detail, decorating the walls with striking modern art and placing beautiful books and furniture throughout. The sunlight pouring in really instils this home with a unique sense of peace – it's within ten minutes of Pioneertown yet feels completely secluded. Greet the day with a spot of yoga in the private studio before enjoying a meal in the sun-soaked garden. The desert is really at your fingertips here. Afternoons are best spent hiking in the wilderness, and you'll find the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park about thirty minutes away by car. The nights, however, are for taking it easy. Pour a glass of local Californian wine to sip as you soak in the hot tub, or relax by the firepit, while the sun sets over the rugged landscape.
