When travelling to a historic town, sometimes you want to stay in a home that's a step back in time in itself. Look no further than this medieval manor of a home, chock full of character, pizzazz and old-world style. If you're a fan of minimalism, this isn't the place for you. This home is grandeur to the max, a 14th century palazzo with much to admire. High-back chairs, opulent chandeliers, statement lighting fixtures and a striking winding staircase are packaged together with chic modernity. Yes, drama and opulence reigns here, but small tabletop greens and leafy floor plants create a soft serenity too. And the home is blessed by large windows, illuminating the living space at every turn. The bedrooms are ridiculously pretty, including the mezzanine master bedroom that overlooks the lounge, and each room is thoughtfully decorated with artwork and florals. This is historic Italian sophistication at its finest.
