From chilly dips in the Black Sea and lying on De Haan beach to playing golf at the nearby course, this home is close to some great summer activities. It's a small space – best suited for small families or a group of close friends – with an open-plan living space to play card games, rustle up light meals, or curl up with a book on the sofa. Ocean-inspired trinkets decorate walls, from a fishing net and wooden carvings to boat prints. Bedrooms are both filled with daylight from the French doors, wake up and head out to the terrace for an alfresco cup of coffee before exploring the area. The flat is in an excellent position to explore Belgium, while incorporating in a seaside holiday, with Bruges 30 minutes by car, and art-filled Ostend just 15.
