Bright red and charming to its core, this cabin in the woods is a true forest gem. A red terrace wraps around the building's second floor – a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch with your family and friends while admiring the wonderful forest views. Walk a couple of minutes to reach the Ørevatn Lake. Snap photos of the incredible vistas of the green mountains, which burn white with snow in winter. Take a dip in the water before - like a true Scandinavian - taking refuge in the dry heat of the sauna. Huddle up by the white fireplace to keep warm on those cold winter nights, or relax on the dark grey sofas, which match the colour of the wooden walls. The kitchen is compact and practical, while the bedrooms are cosy and cabin-like. It's the perfect forest hideaway.

About Norway
Land of phenomenal fjords, deep-blue lakes, picturesque cities, and magical skies – this is Norway. Head north to its Arctic playground and chase the ethereal Northern lights with dogsledding and snowmobiling. Soak up the indigenous Sami cultures with a spot of reindeer herding or give king crab safaris a try on the fjord waters (it's a thing). And no visit to the arctic circle would be complete without ticking off...
