Chancing across this cute-as-a-button log cabin in the depths of winter, you might feel like you’ve stumbled into a fairy-tale. With walls made of jumbo logs and a thick blanket of snow on the roof, it’s got magic written all over it. Inside it’s as cosy as can be, with an open fire, animal pelts and contemporary furniture that contrasts perfectly with the rustic architecture. You’re within walking distance (20 minutes) of Levi Centre, so you can ditch the car if you’re happy to stay local. With ski slopes, snowmobile tracks and cross-country ski trails galore, we don’t see why you’d want to go anywhere else.
