If you're looking for an instant way to slow down and reconnect with life outside of a screen, you've come to the right cabin. Perched on the edge of lake Aitjärvi, this house of logs is all about feeling relaxed and at one with nature. Of course, there is a TV and Wifi but we won't tell the kids if you don't. To make the most out of your stay we recommend taking your morning cuppa on the terrace while birds sing overhead, going for meandering walks in the woods and cooking all your meals on the fire pit (even though there's a perfectly good oven). In the colder months, those double-height windows are perfect for gawping at how beautiful everything looks blanketed in snow and, if you do venture out, remember there's a sauna to warm up in after. This no-frills cabin is pleasingly functional, which will no doubt appeal to anyone with kids in tow. And if that wasn't enough, the secluded location, rowing boat and endless fishing opportunities should clinch the deal.
