It's not really about the interiors or cute plot of this home – but rather about its fantastic location. Part of a resort, the small cabin is near a lake and only moments from the ocean. An endless array of activities is on offer in this region, whether you want to take to the high seas by sailing or stay firmly on dry land with a cycle ride. On your return, calming minimalist interiors greet you. A grey panelled exterior is punctuated by floor-to-ceiling glass windows, which flood the space with light and give views over the fields. Muted tones reign supreme, whether you're curled up on the ash sofa or cooking something in the white kitchen. Evenings can be spent playing card games on the wooden table, underneath hanging bare bulb lights, before drifting off in one of the calming bedrooms. Make sure you get a good night's sleep – you're going to need it with all there is to do here.
