In the vast landscape of Joshua Tree, this incredibly unique home rises from the dust like a mirage before your very eyes. These sand-coloured domes are not dunes, but the roof of your house. This turquoise water is not an oasis, but your private pool. Under the blistering sun, find serenity and wonder in this architectural marvel. Before you even go inside, explore the glorious grounds. Among exotic desert foliage, there's a swimming pool with an integrated Jacuzzi, handcrafted swinging chair, a huge terracotta-coloured fire pit, and a cosy snug under a pagoda-like trellis. Where will you choose to sip tequila with your friends at sunset, or stargaze at midnight while meteors pass overhead? Inside, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a straight line or sharp angle – we love the way the curved walls melt into each living space, with archways, curtains, and soft fabrics all over. Thanks to this decor, it's impossible not to feel relaxed and connected to the earth. As if your home wasn’t creative enough, take a twenty-minute drive to Yucca Valley to visit the Noah Purifoy Desert Art Museum, plus restaurants and unusual shops. You’ve got an interesting neighbour, too – the ornate wooden Jodhpur... Temple, which you can hire for lounging or spiritual musings.
