Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This 1950s high desert homestead is in a glorious spot for stargazing. From the outdoor porch, from the side patio, from the large swinging hammock or the hot tub – the night sky is the star. Inside, the comforting hues of blush and rust complement the scenery outside. And oh my, is there some spectacular scenery right on your doorstep – there are hundreds of acres of desert just across the road, so you can hike to your heart’s content. You’ll also be minutes away from a little-known entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, accessible by car and open for exploring. If you’re looking for somewhere to disconnect, safe in the knowledge that you can still pick up some beers on the way home, this is the place. It’s just 10 minutes from the nearest convenience store, so stock up on some cold ones, put some vinyl on the turntable and sit back and soak in that desert magic.

About Yucca Valley

Drive a couple of hours east of Los Angeles, and you’re in a different world. Named after the twisted, bristled Joshua Tree, a stay in this little Mojave desert community is synonymous with art exhibitions, beautiful night skies, hikes, delicious food, and plenty of hours lounging about in aesthetically pleasing surroundings.
