Viewed from the outside, this Cabo del Sol home greets you with the bluer-than-blue expanse of its infinity pool, azure sun loungers and turquoise umbrellas. Classic Cabo luxe, right? But step inside and you get something a little different. Inspired by the flamboyant brights of the Mexican hacienda, the hosts have assembled a visual collage of carved wooden furniture, traditional textiles and statement home accessories. We love the blue-and-white tiling in the courtyard — which can be viewed from the shaded dining area — and the eye-catching ceramic bathroom design. Oh, and that carved four-poster bed is a novelty, too. Located alongside the first fairway of the Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, it’s an obvious base if you’re planning on spending serious time on the course, but downtown Cabo with its restaurants, spas and bars is only a fifteen-minute drive away, along with the stunning beaches that are in plentiful supply along the coastline. If you want to spend an evening at home, spark up the barbecue grill and then watch the sunset from the hot tub.
