Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
If you want a getaway in the wilderness without being completely away from civilisation, this home is a match. Less than a ten-minute drive from Pioneertown, it's found in Pipes Canyon and is surrounded by three-and-a-half acres of private land with wild jackrabbits, quail and roadrunner. Just next door is the Pioneertown Mountains Preserve and Joshua Tree National Park takes less than half an hour by car, so it's fair to say you're covered for hiking options. After a rewarding day of exploring, you'll be happy to return to this peaceful home. As stylish and unique as the 'desert chic' aesthetic requires, it's a beautiful, uncluttered home. As the sun sets, light the barbecue and serve up some big flavours on the covered terrace, or just sit back and listen to the crackling fire pit. When the night rolls in and the stars come out, you'll really feel like you're a million miles away from anybody else.

There is wi-fi and a desk at the home, but it's not likely to be reliable enough if you're using it for important online meetings – head into town for those instead
Children are welcome but the home and garden aren't baby-proofed – a travel cot is available for little ones
