In the Yucca Valley, this home puts the trails of Joshua Tree National park on your doorstep. It’s a Spanish-style hacienda dripping with boho-chic inside. The backyard doesn’t lose the sense of its desert surroundings with lawn games on the sand and a firepit to keep the desert chill at bay. Hammocks are strung up on the shaded porch and dining is set for eight right on the sand. With nothing but mountain views all around, it feels like you’re a world away from civilisation. And that’s ok, because inside you’ve got a country-style kitchen with everything you need for self-catering and the rustic lounge has a big TV for cosy nights in by the fire. Plus, there's a games room with a billiard table to keep you entertained through the night.
