Nestled in the woods, this home is the perfect place to forget about everyday life and immerse yourself in nature. It's located in the Northern Savonia region, known for its fresh, clean air and crystal clear lakes – if you need a reset, this is the place to do it. The wooden cabin has huge windows that bring the outside in, and the comfy sofa is the perfect place to curl up with a hot coffee. Watch the snow fall in the winter, or admire the light glinting through the trees in the summer months – this is a true sanctuary. When you get hungry, you can fire up the barbeque and grill up some salmon to enjoy on the terrace as you gaze out across Lake Kiltua. Your host can even arrange for a mobile hot tub, so you can enjoy an evening dip beneath the stars. And, perhaps best of all your furry friend can come along too – dogs are very welcome guests here. Although you could probably while away an eternity hardly moving from this serene spot, fans of the outdoors are spoilt for choice when it comes to activities. Your host can help to arrange guided hunting, fishing, and trekking trips, and also rent out the required equipment. You can also take a rowing boat out onto the lake, or visit the nearby Jyrkänkoski ironworks – it's just over half a kilometre away. And, after a long day of exploring, you can do as the Finns do and soothe your muscles with a session in your very own sauna.
