There are cosy corners for you to curl up in with a good book, not to mention the wood-burning stove – if you’re anything like us, you’ll be spending plenty of time in front of the fire, sipping wine and revelling in feeling so comfy and warm. The huge windows look out over the snowy landscape outside, making the interior all the more appealing. If you do want to head out to explore, there’s plenty of skiing and hiking in the area. The waterfalls of Dørfallet are forty-eight minutes away by car and are well worth the drive. Closer to home is Ringebu, where you’ll find shops and restaurants, and a weekly market.
