Fun-filled family days are in store at this traditional-style farmhouse in the Dutch countryside. It sits within an exclusive holiday resort, near the lakeside town of Bruinisse. Guests here have access to a huge shared indoor pool with slides and flumes, and there’s a kids’ club to keep little ones entertained. A river with ducks and the odd great grebe snakes through the grounds and this home sits right on the banks of the river. Heading into the town of Bruinisse, you’ll find boat trips leaving from the harbour and a handful of family-friendly restaurants and cafés. From the private patio, you can watch the ducks glide by as you dine at the huge outdoor dining table. The manicured lawn is big enough for ball games and cartwheels in the sunshine. Inside, it’s a soothing medley of white and grey. The sleek, modern kitchen has everything you need to cook up family meals, which can be served at the dining table by the glass double doors overlooking the garden. Bedrooms are Scandi-chic with light wood floors and slate-grey accents.
