With punchy retro-tinged interiors and a well-equipped private outdoor space (with panoramic views of the spectacular surroundings), the comfortable pad promises a memorable getaway. Active travellers will no doubt spend their time hiking through Yucca Valley's rugged landscape – otherwise, get settled in the welcoming living area, furnished with teak accents and mid-century seating. The minimal kitchen diner lets the views through the large windows do the talking. After moments in the California sunshine, you'll likely want to cool down in the swimming pool, where you can simultaneously enjoy the vista from closer up.
