Shepherd's Bush is always bustling. It's a great place to get a taste of local living away from the tourist trail, yet you can very quickly zip into Central London on the central line. A walk down the Uxbridge Road will give you a sense of the area's multicultural make-up, with food stores, restaurants and market stalls from all over the world and Goldhawk Road is famous for its many fabric shops.
