There’s no doubt this is one of Nerja’s most impressive sea-grazing apartments. With a Scandi-luxe interior and compelling panoramic views all the way across the Mediterranean, this apartment is a sumptuous place to call home. Get set to escape reality and embrace all things coastal as you retreat to this sensational Malagan oasis.

Inside, it's a vision of its own, with minimal design elements and Spanish-influenced furnishings. Lounging and dining in this space feels cosy and opulent – a linen sofa and marble coffee tables are accompanied by considered touches whilst the sleek wooden table is positioned under the lantern mood lights – allowing you to create your perfect ambience. We particularly love the industrial accents – the iron-framed bedroom is a uniquely cool design feature. We can't speak about this home and not mention the views, however. From your private terrace, there are panoramas of the Balcón de Europa and Carabeo coves –  make the most of the vistas from the cosy lounge chairs, a Malaga digestif in hand.

This stunning Andalusian villa is the perfect getaway for a holiday with your loved ones. The interior of the home is very nicely designed, but it’s the exterior we’re most enthusiastic about. With an infinity pool, ping-pong table and several lovely terraces (including a rooftop one) we don’t blame you if you’d like to spend all your time here. If you want the best of both – the beach is a thirty-minute walk away and the beautiful cities of Málaga and Granada are roughly an hour’s drive down the road.

Spread out over three floors, this home in Nerja provides plenty of space, making it a great fit for families or groups of friends. There are several areas for mingling here, outside and in, allowing you to be sociable and get some privacy in equal measure. While the fifteen-minute stroll to the sea means this isn't exactly beachfront, the home has plenty of seating areas that catch the sun, a BBQ, and a saltwater pool, so you may find you spend most of your day relaxing at home anyway. Closer by, you'll find three restaurants around five minutes away.

Sun-Kissed in Nerja

Found in a pretty spot on the Andalucian coastline, this four-level coral villa is positively overflowing with spots in which to bask in the Spanish sunshine.

The most obvious of these is the swimming pool that takes up one corner of the courtyard, but just next to this, you'll also find a couple of loungers and an alfresco dining area treated to some shade by a large parasol. Rather conveniently, the stone barbecue stands within arm's reach.

As if that wasn't enough, there's also a balcony from which it's possible to see the region's terracotta rooftops and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance. Head back into the home and you'll find an elegant interior filled with pastel walls, house plants, dark wooden furnishings and chequerboard tiling.

When you want to explore beyond the boundaries of the address, it's possible to reach the beach — Playa de Burriana, to be precise — in five minutes by car. In the opposite direction, there are hiking routes and scenic points aplenty in Cerros de Nerja, about a quarter of an hour's walk from the home.

If a beach day is where you're happiest, then Burriana is only minutes away. Though the living room might be a little cramped for fourteen, the kitchen table can be pushed closer to the outdoor dining set to make it more sociable for the entire group.

Three levels of comfort await at this home in the heart of Nerja. It won't suit guests who struggle with stairs, but it's bound to be a hit for those who don't mind multi-floor living. Head up to the top-floor terrace to take advantage of the private plunge pool and alfresco dining area. We're big fans of the second kitchen on this level, which makes it easy to whip up a meal without having to clamber up and down. A few of the bedrooms are on the smaller side – and they're all on the first floor – but two have desks for remote working. Location-wise, Playa Burriana and the ever-popular Balcón De Europa are just twenty minutes away on foot.

Soaring in the Sunshine

Nestled in Nerja, this cosy apartment is well-equipped for a coastal stay. Sure, it’s not the biggest space and the twin bedrooms are on the small side (with a single wardrobe for two), but the balcony is a lovely touch and boasts sparkling sea views, perfect for unwinding with your favourite tipple. You can enjoy those very views from the communal pool, too. What we love most about this apartment has to be the view from the private terrace. From the shaded dining table, you’ve got a fabulous panorama over the rooftops of Nerja to the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. There’s also a rattan set of sofa and chairs out here, perfect for a sundowner or two. Inside, it feels like an homage to traditional southern Spain with a cooling tiled floor, crisp white walls and an old, decorative fireplace in the living room. A brick archway separates the living and dining room from the full kitchen. Those that bag the main bedroom can enjoy direct access to the terrace.

A five-minute drive from Nerja’s centre, this villa will appeal to traditionalists. It’s a classic Spanish-style home in a residential area so it won’t appeal to everyone, but we think it’s got charm in abundance. Only two of the bedrooms have sea views, so you and your guests will have to fight it out, but there’s plenty of outside space for everyone to enjoy – gourmands will enjoy the outdoor kitchen. There’s a bakery and mini market within walking distance, but hiring a car to see more of the area would be a good idea.

This delightful home combines beautiful sea and mountain views with luxury and comfort. The private pool is surrounded by sunbeds, and there’s a rooftop terrace set up with comfortable furniture – you can really relax here. When you’re not lounging by the pool or cooking on the barbecue, you might drive 2.5 kilometres to Burriana Beach. Inside the villa, you’ll have plenty of room to chill out together, though two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in one of the two living rooms.
