You'll also benefit from spa facilities and a shared gym. The apartment is well-appointed, with a kitchen for knocking up home-cooked meals and a private balcony with sunset views. We recommend hiring a car for ease of getting around, but if you’d prefer to stick to public transport,  there’s a monorail station nearby.

Situated on Bluewaters Island, this apartment places you in a prime spot,  just a short stroll from JBR Beach. From here, you'll also find The Walk, Ain Dubai, and The Palm Jumeirah within easy reach. Housed in a residential building, there's a communal swimming pool and an on-site gym for you to enjoy too, when you're not out exploring. While this might not be the most characterful place, the apartment is bright and modern, with a sofa bed in the living area for a third guest. The terrace is our favourite spot, with comfy outdoor furniture and sea views – it's the perfect place to relax after busy days in Dubai.  

Beach Dawn

Elegant and refined, this apartment is a swish base in Dubai. The setting on the twenty-ninth floor means you’ll have breathtaking views to look forward to, which can be enjoyed from the balcony. You’ll also have access to communal facilities including a swimming pool, gym, health club, and beauty salon. If you’re in town for business, you can make use of the meeting rooms, too. There are also on-site shops, making this an oh-so-convenient base in Dubai.

Situated on Palm Jumeirah, this apartment is a great choice for solo travellers or couples in search of an easygoing stay. The apartment building lies directly across from Nakheel Mall, providing an array of dining options and shops. Of course, you'll be within easy reach of the beach here too. When you're not out and about, make the most of the shared on-site facilities, including an infinity pool and a gym. While the interiors are a little plain for our liking, the pad is set up nicely for long stays, with a fully equipped kitchen and laptop-friendly workspaces. There is also space for a third guest on the sofa bed in the living area. 

Sunset Simplicity

Perched on Palm Jumeirah, this apartment promises private beach access and waterfront views. It's housed in a residential building, so you'll also have use of the 5-star shared facilities here, including an outdoor pool and a fully-equipped gym – ideal for longer stays. The interiors are kept fairly simple, but the private balcony is a real highlight, and the en-suite bathrooms will help to speed mornings along. Just keep in mind that one person will be sleeping on a sofa bed at full occupancy. Outside, it's a short stroll from the Dubai Marina's restaurants and shopping mall, while JBR Beach is easily reachable for a change of scenery. 

Palm Elegance

With unfettered views of the marina and the Dubai Eye from its private balcony, this sky-high apartment is the ideal base to return to after a busy day spent working or sightseeing. From a fully equipped kitchen to storage space in the bedrooms, a seamless stay is guaranteed here. Better still, you have access to a communal swimming pool and gym. We recommend hiring a car for getting around, and on-site parking makes exploring easy. You'll be pleased to know JBR Beach is less than a fifteen-minute drive away.

You can enjoy more views from the inside, too – we particularly love the outlook from the bedrooms. There are some excellent shared facilities here – check out the pool and the beach cabanas. You can also dine at the beachfront restaurant, entertain the kids in the play area and keep fit in the communal gym. Out and about, there are plenty of eateries and boutiques, but if you want to explore many of the city's attractions, you'll need to hop in a cab, hire a car or use public transport. Alternatively, you can let your host organise a private chauffeur or city tour for you.

Housed in a residential tower, this sleek pad is a great base for small groups with its shared amenities and central address. From here, you're a ten-minute walk from the Burj Khalifa and within easy reach of the Dubai Opera and the Dubai Fountain. The interiors are a little generic for our liking, although you'll find everything needed for a comfortable stay here – we especially appreciate the en-suite bathrooms. You'll also have access to the building's shared swimming pool and communal gym – ideal for filling the gap in between sightseeing ventures.

Made for soaking up the Dubai sunshine, this home boasts a private balcony with far-reaching city views along with access to the resort’s communal swimming pool and beach. When you’re not cooling off in the sea or the pool, there’s an on-site gym here, too, to stay on top of your fitness. Back home, you’ll find a comfortable space for a couple. Sure, the kitchen is pretty compact, but with The Walk at JBR on your doorstep, dining out is always on the menu.

We're also big fans of the fact that, In one of the bedrooms and the living room, there are balconies with space to sit and ponder the peaceful sea views.
