While the apartment’s interiors are pretty unremarkable, the stunning views over Dubai Marina are a real standout. Just note that one person will be sleeping on a sofa bed if you're travelling in a group of five.

Luxury at The Palm

We’re not exaggerating when we say this luxurious Dubai villa is on the beach. On the shore of the exclusive island of Palm Jumeirah, stone steps lead from the lush lawn straight to the caster-sugar-soft sand of the beach where you’ve got your own loungers to take in the crystal-clear sea and striking outline of the Atlantic Hotel across the bay. If you prefer your water less saline, opt for a swim in the pool. Dine alfresco, amidst the bougainvillaea on the terrace or head up to the covered first-floor balcony for a bit of privacy in the shade.

The villa itself is palatial, with three separate living rooms to choose from, allowing the group to spread out. Pristine white walls and intricately carved Arabic-style windows add an old-world feel, but the rest of the decor is decidedly modern with vibrant, geometric feature walls and gold accents. The central, circular hall feels as though it could host a ball and there’s a sweeping staircase for grand entrances. The granite-topped gourmet kitchen has plenty of prep space, thanks to a central island and the dining room looks out to the manicured, green gardens. Another luxurious little bonus is the Jacuzzi tub in the master ensuite. 

Barefoot to the Beach

Perched on the outer edge of the Palm Jumeirah, this apartment brings together a luxurious interior and a fabulous collection of amenities, all in a truly superb location.

The home itself feels bright and fresh, thanks to the stark white walls and floors. A colourful collection of artwork and rugs pop off pleasingly against this blank backdrop, while the kitchen is both impressively large and sleek, too. We're also big fans of the fact that, In one of the bedrooms and the living room, there are balconies with space to sit and ponder the peaceful sea views.

This would be more than enough by itself, but guests are also treated to plenty of communal facilities within the building. These range from a palm-lined swimming pool and private beach to a tennis court and fitness centre with a sauna.

And that's before you get around to the wealth of things to see and do nearby, as well. The boutiques and designer shops on the Golden Mile are only ten minutes' drive, as are the Lost Chambers Aquarium and the Palm Fountain.
