If you have any time left to explore, there's the nearby Dubai Canal Boardwalk – the views from here are particularly stunning at night. Many of the city's other main attractions are a drive away, though, so you'll need to use public transport, hop in a cab or hire a car.

Perched on Palm Jumeirah, this apartment promises private beach access and waterfront views. It's housed in a residential building, so you'll also have use of the 5-star shared facilities here, including an outdoor pool and a fully-equipped gym – ideal for longer stays. The interiors are kept fairly simple, but the private balcony is a real highlight, and the en-suite bathrooms will help to speed mornings along. Just keep in mind that one person will be sleeping on a sofa bed at full occupancy. Every outlook is a reminder of the fantastic location – Dubai Mall, a bevvy of restaurants, and, of course, the world's tallest building can all be reached on foot. Factor in the communal gym, elegant living space (which is perfectly sized for two), and the option to arrange tours and services, and it's no wonder this pad caught our eye.

The Modern City

Situated on Bluewaters Island, this apartment places you in a prime spot,  just a short stroll from JBR Beach. From here, you'll also find The Walk, Ain Dubai, and The Palm Jumeirah within easy reach. Housed in a residential building, there's a communal swimming pool and an on-site gym for you to enjoy too, when you're not out exploring. While this might not be the most characterful place, the apartment is bright and modern, with a sofa bed in the living area for a third guest. The terrace is our favourite spot, with comfy outdoor furniture and sea views – it's the perfect place to relax after busy days in Dubai.  

Beach Dawn

Housed in a residential tower, this sleek pad is a great base for small groups with its shared amenities and central address. From here, you're a ten-minute walk from the Burj Khalifa and within easy reach of the Dubai Opera and the Dubai Fountain. Inside, the apartment's biggest draw is the private balcony, where you can escape the Downtown noise. The interiors are a little generic for our liking, although you'll find everything needed for a comfortable stay here – we especially appreciate the en-suite bathrooms. You'll also have access to the building's shared swimming pool and communal gym – ideal for filling the gap in between sightseeing ventures. 

Khalifa Dreams

Desk

Situated on Palm Jumeirah, this apartment is a great choice for solo travellers or couples in search of an easygoing stay. The apartment building lies directly across from Nakheel Mall, providing an array of dining options and shops. Of course, you'll be within easy reach of the beach here too. When you're not out and about, make the most of the shared on-site facilities, including an infinity pool and a gym. While the interiors are a little plain for our liking, the pad is set up nicely for long stays, with a fully equipped kitchen and laptop-friendly workspaces. There is also space for a third guest on the sofa bed in the living area. 

Sunset Simplicity

With unfettered views of the marina and the Dubai Eye from its private balcony, this sky-high apartment is the ideal base to return to after a busy day spent working or sightseeing. From a fully equipped kitchen to storage space in the bedrooms, a seamless stay is guaranteed here. Better still, you have access to a communal swimming pool and gym. We recommend hiring a car for getting around, and on-site parking makes exploring easy. You'll be pleased to know JBR Beach is less than a fifteen-minute drive away.

Marina Dream

Sitting directly opposite the Burj Khalifa, this sleek apartment places you in a prime position for exploring the city. Just minutes away from the Dubai Mall, Dubai Fountain, and the Dubai Opera. Ideally suited to a group of friends or co-workers, this fuss-free pad has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including three well-sized bedrooms that are each equipped with en-suite bathrooms. The highlight for us? It has to be the private balcony, offering awe-inspiring views of the world's tallest building. Add in the communal facilities, including an outdoor pool and an on-site gym, and this is a great option for your trip to Dubai.

Opera Elegance

Made for soaking up the Dubai sunshine, this home boasts a private balcony with far-reaching city views along with access to the resort’s communal swimming pool and beach. When you’re not cooling off in the sea or the pool, there’s an on-site gym here, too, to stay on top of your fitness. Back home, you’ll find a comfortable space for a couple. Sure, the kitchen is pretty compact, but with The Walk at JBR on your doorstep, dining out is always on the menu.


Pearls of Dubai

Located in Arjan, this apartment makes it easy to enjoy the magic of Dubai living. From here, you can stroll to local restaurants and shops. Private parking is included in your stay, and you’ll find great public transport links – ensuring smooth connections with the rest of the city. It’s worth noting the apartment is basic, but it’s ideal for remote workers or couples in search of simplicity and ease. There is also a private balcony and you can enjoy access to a shared swimming pool and gym throughout your stay.


The True Life

With the Dubai Opera, the Dubai Fountain, and the Burj Khalifa all within easy reach, this apartment is an ideal base for a family or group of friends. Step through the door, and you’ll find a calming pastel colour palette that will help you unwind instantly – though your eyes will be drawn to the view. The sweeping city skyline is best enjoyed over a morning coffee from the private balcony, after which you can squeeze in a workout in the on-site gym or swim in the communal pool – the perfect kickstart to your day. 

City of Lights

Sitting in a building with direct access to Dubai Mall and Fountain, this apartment is ideally placed for a laid-back stay. If you need a break from the heat, Jumeirah Public Beach is only a fifteen-minute drive away, and you also have access to an on-site communal pool. For those keen on keeping up with their workout routine, a gym is available on the premises. Inside, the bedrooms are comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped. We recommend enjoying your meals on the private balcony overlooking the Burj Khalifa.
