Focussed on connecting you with nature, you’ll find that most of the rooms here give you another vantage point to view the scenic landscape all around you – the living space even goes a step further with large bi-fold doors that open up to connect you directly to the pool area. Embrace the tropical life by spending lazy days poolside – either lounging in the sunloungers or lapping the pool itself – or enjoy a bubble bath in the tub right next to a large floor-to-ceiling window. From here you can admire the dense foliage as you soak your troubles away.

When you’re not out golfing, in the white sand or the crystalline seawater, or exploring the resort, you can treat yourself to a wellness treatment in the small spa room or catch up on your favourite movies in the private screening room. With staff on hand and your own slice of paradise, there’s little else for you to do but put your feet up and relax. 

Palm & Sand

Ananda Pure

This home is so stunning and serene, it could be used on a postcard to show just what paradise looks like. Whether you’re an indoors or outdoors person, you’re in for a treat.

Walk through your promenade with the trickle of water alongside you, up to the front door, and throw it open. You’re met with such a tranquil setting, you can feel the calmness washing over you in an instant. Marbled floors, neutral decor with beautiful teals and gold peppered throughout make the interior of this home quite sanctuary-like. But for those who like to be entertained, there’s plenty for you here, too. Choose from your cinema room, private gym, pool table, ping pong or table football to while away the hours. 

Not to be outdone, the outside space is just as impressive as the interior. Settle yourself down on a sun lounger, grab a book and a Caribbean cocktail, and relax as the sun warms your skin and the breeze rustles through the palm trees surrounding you. When the heat of the day becomes too much, plunge into your sparkling pool to cool off before heading to your palapa for a spot of alfresco lunch. There’s plenty to do on the surrounding resort, but with the sizzle of the barbecue the only sound you can hear besides the happy chatter of your loved ones, you may find there’s simply nowhere else you’d rather be.

It really doesn't get any better than this – a striking villa surrounded by tropical foliage in the middle of one of the Dominican Republic's most renowned resorts.

The home itself is made up of palatial proportions, with lots of huge open rooms, high ceilings and large windows, while the design opts for a simple whitewashed colour palette livened up by colourful artwork and interesting decorative items. Although you could very easily have an incredible time without leaving the address, there are a wealth of activities to do in the surrounding resort, from watersports and golf to tennis and spa treatments. There are also three miles of white sand beach to which only residents have access, so you never have to worry about big crowds or finding a peaceful spot.

Palace of the Caribbean
