This home is all about the location. Just steps from Playa del Inglés, this is the perfect spot for a slow-paced beach getaway. You can walk to the nearest shops and there’s a great selection of restaurants in the area. Plus, the building features a communal pool with loungers if you feel like staying closer to home. Head upstairs and you’ll be welcomed by a simple and minimal apartment with all the essentials you could need. There’s also a terrace for sunset drinks and alfresco dining. 

Secret Bliss

This is one of those apartments that just makes you alive. Vivid colours brighten the open-plan living space, which perfectly marries a cosy sofa area with beach bar vibes at the kitchen stools. It's a decor that makes you appreciate that you're really on holiday. 

The bright blue stools of the kitchen are the ideal spot to eat breakfast in the morning or share a bottle of wine in the evening. For snug nights in, curl up on the sofa with a book or relax with a film in the background. 

Whilst the living space is a chill haven to spend your days, you didn't come to Las Palmas to stay inside. If you're visiting during the warmer months, you're just an eight-minute walk to the gorgeous Las Canteras Beach. On your way there, you'll pass Parque de Santa Catalina – the home of live performances, cultural activities and festivals.

If that's not your vibe, visit the cute restaurants and bars along the harbour, watching the ships pass through. For the golfing fanatics, the lush greens of Las Palmeras Golf are just a five-minute drive away.

The Carnival

A convenient home directly in front of the beach, this apartment makes for a great base in Gran Canaria. It’s a stylish apartment with everything you might need for a beach break. In the morning, sip coffee at the breakfast bar or take a seat on the cosy balcony. There’s a dining table too, so family breakfasts can be enjoyed before you head out for the day. 

Playa de Las Canteras is a two-minute walk from the apartment. Pack up your towels and bucket and spade, and settle onto the beach. Whether you’re a keen sea swimmer or prefer to paddle in the shallows, you’re sure to revel in being so close to the water.

The apartment is perfectly located among a wealth of restaurants and bars. After a day in the sunshine, is there a better feeling than sitting alfresco and taking that first sip of something chilled? Tuck into tapas, then return to the apartment for a comfortable night's sleep. 


Golden Coast

You'll find this stylish flat just seven minutes on foot from the famous Las Canteras Beach. Whether you fancy sunbathing all day, swimming in the pristine waters or trying your hand at surfing and snorkelling, it's perfectly positioned for a day by the seaside. 

After a dip in the ocean, stroll along the waterfront promenade packed full of boutique shops and delicious eateries and grab an ice cream or papas arrugadas. If you're in the mood to cook, swing by Mercado del Puerto (a six-minute stroll away) and pick up some fresh parrotfish, local cheese and a bottle of vino. 

Head back to your Las Palmas pad and rustle up a dinner to remember in the sleek kitchen. As home chefs get down to business, others can wind down with a glass of wine or a refreshing lemonade in the internal courtyard and plan the next's days adventures. When it's time to tuck in, gather around the white dining table for tasty tapas, sweet sangria and good conversation. We love how the breezy, open-plan layout encourages socialising, while the calm atmosphere and unfussy design sets you up perfectly for a laid-back holiday in the sun.

Let the Tide Roll

This practical studio apartment boasts sea views and is just steps from the capital's stunning Las Canteras Beach. The crisp, contemporary interiors of the home and building would perfectly suit guests visiting the city for work or couples looking for a fuss-free stay. Don't let its studio apartment set-up put you off – the space is well-equipped with a modern kitchen and obligatory coffee pod machine for morning brews. The only downside for some would be the lack of outdoor space, but we can forgive that when the sandy shores are so close.

With the Sea on My Heart

Right on the beachfront at La Canteras, this home has a fabulous spot. Take in the fantastic Atlantic and La Canteras Beach views from this home’s sunny and dazzling whitewashed terrace. You can even spot Mount Teide in Tenerife in the distance. We love this outdoor space, it's ideal for an alfresco breakfast (whizz up a drink in the juicer to accompany some churros). Later, do some sunbathing on the sun loungers. Inside, there are more of those fabulous vistas through the large sliding doors.

In the afternoon, perhaps head to La Canteras  Beach, under a minute stroll away. It’s one of the best urban beaches in the world, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants to sample in the vicinity too. Or, for a bit of culture, Las Palmas Cathedral is a ten-minute ride away. It’s a couple of minutes more to Casa-Museo de Colón, which documents Columbus’ voyages. 


Somewhere on a Beach

In the centre of Las Palmas, this sleek studio apartment puts trendy restaurants, pavement cafes, buzzing bars and endless shops on your doorstep. It’s a city packed with things to do, from exploring the 15th-century cathedral to spotting sharks at the aquarium and wandering the botanic gardens. What's more, Las Canteras Beach with its impossibly blue water and long sweep of sand is just a five-minute stroll away.

Retreating back to your apartment is a delight as sunlight streams in through the big corner windows – just what you want in the land of sunshine. The palette of turquoise and white is refreshing and bright, embracing the holiday vibe. Although it’s a studio, there’s plenty of space with a sofa to relax and a full kitchen for meals at home. That’s if you’re not too busy exploring the myriad eateries on your doorstep.  

Tropical Fish

Surrounded by palm trees and greenery, this Tenerife home transports you to scenes of South East Asia; an exotic paradise alive with botanica. Your own terracotta temple worships nature to the fullest, with hidden coves of seated areas, terraces, a pond, and trickling fountain. Alongside the tranquil beauty, the outdoors comes with a touch of fun and games too, boasting a children’s playhouse and flat lawn for a kick about. There’s a stone patio with a built-in barbecue for outdoor dining and a pool to dive straight into. Inside, wooden floors and ceilings, a tiled kitchen, and exposed beams carry that rustic feel. A balcony runs the entire length of the house, fringed with old-world wooden railings. Within walking distance, the shops, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets of La Orotava beckon, as does the beauty and history of Unesco World Heritage site, El Parque Nacional de las Canadas del Tiede. 

Terracotta Botanica

Situated within a villa complex less than ten minutes' drive from Maspolamas, this recently renovated home will sing to those fond of contemporary design.

Large windows and glass doors bring plenty of natural light into the interior and this asset works particularly well with the wealth of reflective surfaces and stark white walls. There's a preference for minimalism in everything from the sleek kitchen to the pared-back approach to decoration, and we think the host has nailed it.

Besides, you might not actually be spending all that much time indoors, what with the swimming pool out in the garden, along with the barbecue and covered terrace complete with a lounge and alfresco dining table. Here, it's welcomingly easy to make the most of Gran Canaria's year-round warmth.

Elsewhere in the complex, there's a golf course 200m away from the home, as well as entertainment for children and a couple of shops and restaurants. You can also reach many of the beaches that run along the southern coastline of the island in under ten minutes' drive, while the Dunes of Maspalomas don't take much longer, either. 

Joy & Jubilance

This beachfront apartment puts you just steps away from the golden sands of Playa de Las Canteras. Inside, it’s bright and contemporary, with large windows running the length of the flat and offering sea views from both the living space and the bedroom. The kitchen doesn’t have an oven, but there’s a stove for preparing light bites, and you’re within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and beach bars. In fact, unless you’re planning to explore further afield, you won’t need a car here – and your host can even arrange airport transfers so you can slip straight into holiday mode.

The Sea's Song

This eco-friendly studio apartment is situated just moments away from the Las Canteras beach, making it a good base for a couple or a solo traveller. Thanks to the central location, a car is not essential here, as you’ll have plenty of shopping and dining options to choose from within walking distance. Public transport options are also excellent if you want to explore further afield. The pad may be compact in size but there’s enough space here for two guests to be comfortable, and with good internet speed, you can also catch up on work during your stay – although you'll have to set-up shop around the dining table since there isn't a desk.
