Sitting on the top of a recently constructed building in the centre of Málaga, this apartment makes the most of its elevated position with not just one, but two terraces on which you bask in Andalusia's famously agreeable climate.

One of these faces in a south-easterly direction, which gets the sun in the morning, while the other lies to the northwest, getting plenty of light from midday onwards. As if this ample supply of Vitamin D wasn't enough, guests also get access to a communal swimming pool in the building's courtyard, just in case you're ever in need of a cooldown at any point.

It's plain to see that this is an address that values the alfresco way of life, but the interior hasn't been neglected either. Malagueta Beach is only a short car ride away, but if you’d prefer to cool off at home, make a beeline for the plunge pool on the private terrace. Just a heads up, there isn't much storage space here, so you may want to pack light. Plus, there isn't an oven here, only a hob – though we think you’ll do most of your eating out at the restaurants on your doorstep.

With eye-catching scenery such as this outside, the designer behind this apartment might have been tempted to phone it in with the interior, but you can tell that clearly didn't happen. That said, with the nearest beach only 2km away, you might want to spend most of your time there.
