This beautiful village house is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday in the Luberon region of Provence. The property is located on a hillside on the edge of Gordes, one of France's classified 'Plus Beaux Villages'. The Provençal valley views from the terraced grounds are incredible.

The house has been decorated with refined style and there's an authentic ambience across its elegant lounge, dining room and perfectly equipped kitchen with doors sliding open to the al-fresco dining terrace. Modern additions include air-conditioning throughout, a Sonos music system and Smart TVs in its mezzanine lounge and two of the three bedrooms.

Sleeping up to six guests, the bedrooms are gorgeous, one with a king-size double bed, wood-beamed ceiling and romantic rolltop bath, another with a queen-size double, sofa and en suite shower room and the third en suite with twin beds and lovely views through its little windows. 

Outside, the vistas of Provence will take your breath away whether you are enjoying a glass of Luberon AOC wine on the upper terrace or peacefully reading on the outdoor sofa beneath the poolside pergola. There’s also a footpath, for all building residents, which leads to River Guisane – perfect for a stroll. In fact, the large living room overlooks a larch forest and the river beyond. We love the vistas of the piste from the southwest-facing balcony. If you need to work from home, there’s a workspace here too.

This home is part of local history here in Villerville, but its history isn't the only reason we love it. Recently refurbished to preserve its charm and whimsical nature, this home is a great place to visit if you need a bit of inspiration. As you'll be staying right on the beach, La Peinture will give you plenty of sea breeze and views to start your day, so get up early, grab a coffee, and sit on the terrace to catch the sunrise. Once you're ready to explore, take a walk on the beach and if the weather is nice, dip your toes into the sea. You can pack light if you're here to swim and work on your tan as you can always return to your gorgeous residence for a snack. If you want to do a bit of sightseeing, visit the nearby towns of Honfleur and Deauville and walk the cobbled streets. when you return, whip up a meal in the well-equipped kitchen to replenish your energy, then organise a movie night with the help of the big flat-screen TV.

This beautifully renovated sixteenth century farmhouse with sweeping grounds is perfectly suited to a large family or group. Children will love the play room and football goals in the garden, and a couple of the bedrooms are especially designed for kids. This place is a great retreat for family or friends all year round.

There's plenty to explore out and about – it's less than a minute's walk to the river, while Névez is just 4 kilometres away.
