Nestled in the Côte d'Azur hinterland, this elegant farmhouse is surrounded by protected forest and vast grounds, perfect for both kids and grown-ups to explore. The private pool is open in summer, boasting stunning views and plenty of space for sunbathing. You'll also find countless spots in the shade and the sunshine to enjoy alfresco dining. Your host can arrange extras to make your stay special, from private chefs to local tours, and the sandy shores of the French Riviera are only a thirty-minute or so drive away. We recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay – especially as the nearby pretty-as-a-picture village is a 3-kilometre climb uphill.

The Village Gate

There are stunning views from this home with its heated pool, summer kitchen and alfresco dining spots. Guests can also enjoy the table tennis, yoga, gym lawn and boules court in the terraced gardens planted with olive, orange and fig trees. Once owned by the 8th Earl Spencer, there’s an impressive Provençal-style lounge (one of several) and we love the conservatory reading room with its idyllic vistas. Some of the bedrooms here have en-suites and some open out onto the terrace, while two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed at full capacity. Location-wise, this place is just a short walk from the local village and it's around a thirty-minute drive from the beaches of the French Riviera. 

Provençal Panache

On a narrow, hilly street just a short stroll away from the azure waters of the Cannes waterfront, this home awaits its next lucky guests. With its brightly lit rooms and warm wood-and-wicker style furnishings, this home exudes charm and comfort as soon as you walk in. The kitchen is fully-equipped with plenty of room to manoeuvre, the bedrooms are cosy, and the location is superb – step outside and take an easy walk to the Cannes Marina, or follow the coast to reach the iconic La Croisette beach.

Lively Hideaway

This charming studio apartment is set in a quiet residential area of Théoule-sur-Mer, perfect for a relaxed Côte d’Azur escape. Beautifully furnished and uniquely designed with a loft-style sleeping space, it's ideal for a couple and up to two children. Enjoy panoramic sea views from the veranda or take a dip in the shared pool overlooking the scenic surroundings. Ready to explore? The beach, harbour, and coastal hiking trails are all within a fifteen-minute walk, while vibrant Cannes is just a short drive away for a perfect day trip.

Esterel Breeze

Modern and peaceful, this loft makes for a wonderful base in Cannes. It’s convenient yet chic, with neutral decor, bold artwork, and high ceilings. The open-plan living, dining, and well-equipped kitchen space – bright and contemporary – leads to a petite patio. Outside, you can soak up the sun on a deck chair, read in the shade, and relax in the Jacuzzi. The beaches and buzz of La Croisette are about twenty minutes away on foot.

Welcomed by your villa manager (a former hotelier), you’ll find every detail has been considered to enrich your stay with meaningful moments. From delicious meals prepared by a private chef (available on request) to local trips and tours, your days here can be as laid-back or as adventurous as your heart desires. 

Just a short drive from Lac de Saint-Cassien, this is the perfect setting for leisurely cycle rides, scenic drives through fields of lavender and sightseeing your way across the villages of Pays de Fayences. You’ll also find the beaches of the Côte d'Azur are just a thirty-minute drive away.

By sunset, the garden welcomes you to enjoy the evening light with refreshing drinks in hand – served straight from the outdoor kitchen (which also includes a pizza oven and wine fridge). And for cooler nights, the living room provides the perfect opportunity to get cosy around the grand stone fireplace. 

Birds in Song   

With a stunning hillside setting that offers fantastic views over the gently undulating landscape, this traditional farmhouse-style home offers a sophisticated, chic setting for your escape to the French countryside. Back at home, we can think of no better place to be as the sun begins to set than out on the terrace, with a glass of something chilled in hand. As for dinner, why not prepare a feast on the barbecue or in the well-equipped kitchen to enjoy alfresco with the rest of your party? Here, la vie really is belle.

Olive Scented Air

Villa Cactus

If you’re craving the cool breeze of Cannes, this nearby apartment might tick all the boxes. It’s close enough to feel part of the action but far enough to soak up the laid-back pace of local life on the French Riviera. That said, a car is a must if you want to make the most of your stay. There’s loads of outdoor space for alfresco dining on the two terraces – or, if you’re after a more active break, the communal pool is perfect for morning laps. Just note you’ll need to pay extra for your bed linen and towels here.

Riviera Residence

Set just outside Valbonne, this modern villa makes a stylish base for exploring the French Riviera. The open-plan living area opens straight onto a dining terrace, with a summer kitchen and barbecue for meals outdoors.
