"Enchanted Haven" is a large, beautifully renovated house situated in the heart of Mevagissey. Nestled in a quiet location, just 300 meters from the sea and 400 meters from the beach, this four-story property offers an excellent mix of convenience and tranquility. Step outside and find yourself immersed in a charming seaside village, with shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants all within walking distance. Inside, the house boasts modern and tasteful furnishings spread across seven spacious rooms. With its open dining room and large kitchen that leads to the garden terrace, "Enchanted Haven" is perfect for gatherings with loved ones. The upper floors offer comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, providing both coziness and privacy. Whether you're exploring the nearby attractions like Lost Gardens of Heligan or simply enjoying a peaceful stroll along the South West Coast Path, this unique hideaway promises relaxation and serenity for your holiday retreat.

The Whimsical Retreat

Some homes are designed around a view and this is one of them. Perched close to the Cornish coastline, it's possible to gaze out at peaceful vistas of Swanpool lagoon or Falmouth Bay, depending on which of the floor-to-ceiling windows you're standing next to at any given moment. The best spot at the address, however, has to be the covered balcony, from which you can enjoy the coastal panorama with a sea breeze on your skin.

One added benefit of all this glass is the copious amount of natural light that it lets into the home and this asset is emphasised by the preference for stark white in the walls and the kitchen's sleek surfaces. The home's design is definitely shaped by contemporary minimalism, which will really sing to those who have no time for nautical kitsch found in plenty of local properties.

As a glimpse out the windows will tell you, the sea isn't all too far away – in fact, you can be standing on the sands of Swanpool beach in under five minutes' walk. This seaside spot sits on the South West Coast Path, so you can ramble on in either direction if you so wish. The town of Falmouth will take you half an hour to reach on foot, too.

Waves on the Horizon

There are lots of things that impressed us about this cute cottage close to the North Cornish coastline. First off, there's a lot of room inside considering it's only for two people, with the modern corner kitchen particularly large — and well-equipped for that matter. This generosity with space will have contributed towards the M2 Accessibility Rating it received from Visit England, which marks the single-level property out as suitable for guests with reduced mobility and part-time wheelchair users. What's more, there's a private sandstone patio complete with alfresco seating and a hot tub from which to enjoy summer evening sunsets. If you prefer to watch this while sitting on the sand with the sound of the waves lapping nearby, Perranporth Beach is less than ten minutes' drive. Similarly, the towns of Truro and Newquay only take a quarter of an hour to reach by car.

Lord of the Isles

This home in the seaside town of Perranporth has all the convenience and comfort of a new build while enjoying a position a short walk from the beach. In fifteen minutes on foot, you can be in the heart of town where seafood restaurants and cosy pubs abound, plus there’s a sweep of sandy beach and access to the glorious South West Coastal Path. Return to your sleek, modern abode where comfort is the name of the game. Some may say “soulless”, but we say if the sofas are squishy, the kitchen is fully equipped (even with a wine fridge) and the beds are top-notch, what’s not to love?  

The Golden Gilded

Just a few miles away from the city of Truro, this quaint, stone–cladded cottage is tucked away within thirteen acres of glorious garden and woodland. So, if you’re looking for a private paradise that’s well connected with civilisation, this place hits the nail on the head. 

With its wooden beamed frontage and luscious shrubbery, you’ll instantly fall in love with its countrified good looks – and as you step inside beyond the blue front door, a welcoming snug awaits.

The open–plan kitchen–diner is definitely the heart of the home. Leading directly onto the living room, there’s no better space for a spot of socialising with family and friends – and with access to the garden from the patio doors, you won’t need to travel far to soak up the rays. 

We love the way the tall windows allow natural light to flood from room to room, making things bright and breezy. The statuesque, beamed ceilings sit high on our list of ‘loves’, too. 


Cornish Cream Tea

Perched just above the quaint fishing village of Mevagissey and the sparkling English Channel, this Edwardian home treats guests to gorgeous views of the landscape through the large bay windows — not to mention from the tables on the terraces.

Don't be fooled into thinking that the address is nothing more than a vantage point, however. Despite the property's history, the design is contemporary in flavour, with pieces from local Cornish artists adorning some walls and boldly patterned wallpaper covering others. Those with musical talents will melt at the sight of the walnut Art Deco piano in the hallway, while the sleek kitchen is a thing of beauty as well, particularly with the spaceship-esque extractor fan and chic breakfast bar seating. 

If the weather's playing ball during your stay, you're more than welcome to cook up something on the barbecue, perhaps some seafood bought from the centre of Mevagissey just over five minutes' walk away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby too, as well as a museum and the South West Coast Path running past.

Tides of Time

Tucked in the heart of Newquay, this home makes it easy to enjoy the magic of coastal living. From here, it’s just a short stroll to the beach, while all the amenities you could need are within easy reach. Wherever the day takes you, this home provides a snug and relaxing space to spend quality time together. Inside, the rooms are family-friendly with the handy addition of a sofa bed and children’s amenities available on request. There is also a sweet patio with a barbecue – perfect for summer evening meals. 


A Seaside Retreat

There's a distinct boho edge to the interior design in this Newquay apartment, what with the hanging macrame, house plants and array of woven furnishings. Mixed with the natural light from the skylights and the stark white walls, it's inescapably relaxing. The neatly tiled bathrooms bring a touch of spa quality and the wooden dining table illuminated by the overhanging light fixture is ideal for gathering the group around for a hearty supper after a day out at the seaside — there's no shortage of beaches in the town, that's for sure. Tolcarne Beach is only two minutes' walk away and the larger Newquay Beach takes ten. An added benefit is that the apartment itself has storage options for surfboards and bicycles, which gives you alternative ways to explore the Cornish coastline.

Rum & Raisin

Situated a ten-minute walk from Fistral Beach and Newquay Golf Club, this comfortable apartment is a fabulous seaside escape for a family or couple of friends who like to spend their time outdoors. Inside, an open-plan living space with a tropically sweet pink and green colour scheme opens up onto a private balcony, where you can sit out with indulgent cream tea and watch fishing boats slip over the horizon. A clever kitchen makes light work of whipping up culinary favourites, but if you’d prefer to eat out, there’s a fine selection of restaurants a fifteen-minute walk from your doorstep. Once you’re fuelled and raring to go, scamper down to the waterfront to carve through crashing waves or relax on golden sands. Head home at the end of a windswept day, tuck away your surfboard in the storage provided and fall back into comfortable beds for a night of sweet dreams. 

Fistral Vista

Tucked away on a quiet lane in Cubert, a small village on the North Coast of Cornwall, this cottage is just the place to recharge your batteries. Once a piggery and hay barn, many of the original features are still inside, from the vaulted timber beam ceilings to the exposed stonework. But old-world charm is not all that's on offer – with underfloor heating, rainfall showers and a sleek high-spec kitchen, creature comforts abound. Our favourite spot has to be the balcony, where you can enjoy a morning coffee or an evening sundowner whilst admiring the sweeping countryside views. The garden is the perfect spot to bask in the sunshine – sprawl out on the lounge chairs with a good book or fire up the grill and tuck into an alfresco meal in the fresh air. Best of all is the location. Stroll through the green orchards towards the village, home to a beloved 16th-century pub and a few coffee shops. When you're in the mood for a beach day, hop in the car and drive five minutes to Holywell Bay, a haven for exceptional surfing, sandy beaches and excellent restaurants.

Amid The Orchards

Tucked away in Mevagissey, this quaint cottage oozes coastal charm. An effortless mix of old and new, you’re hit by bold, brilliant blue cabinetry that’s sleek and modern, sitting alongside exposed stonework and wooden beams as you step into the kitchen. We love the attention to detail with the decor, with the seaside vibe flowing throughout the home – our particular favourite is the seagull pattern you’ll find on cushions and lampshades, carrying you on a tour around the cottage. Spend quiet evenings curled up on the corner sofa to enjoy a movie night or get lost in a story with your holiday read – it’s the perfect way to relax after a busy day exploring the Cornish coast that surrounds you. 

Before heading out for the day, rustle up a tasty full English and settle down at the kitchen table to plan for the day ahead with your loved ones. Suitably nourished, stroll to the harbour and while away a few hours exploring the independent shops that line the waterfront. Further afield, you can reach The Lost Gardens of Heligan by car in fifteen minutes, or The Eden Project in around twenty. Never short of things to do, you’ll be grateful for your calming coastal retreat, just the place to return to after a fun-filled day.

Nestled on the Cornish coast within walking distance of Newquay's iconic Fistral Beach, this tranquil home has been designed for total relaxation. You'll even have your own surfboard storage for stowing away all your beach gear here, making early morning surf sessions a complete breeze – even the most dedicated land-lubbers will be tempted to take to the waves.
