Quiet Countryside

This home in the seaside town of Herne Bay is the perfect getaway for beach holidays, whether the sun is shining or whether you’re caught in the British rain. We would love to start our mornings here with a fresh coffee from the pod machine and enjoy it alfresco on the outdoor decking, breathing in the salty sea air for an invigorating wake-up call. 

Then wander ten minutes to the seafront and pier to spend the day beside the sea. Or if the rain is pouring and you would rather stay cosy inside, why not grab your holiday reading and settle down in the loft-converted lounge space, which even offers incredible sea views?

In the evening, dine on fish and chips on the seafront, fire up the barbecue on sunny evenings and enjoy a family cook-out, or even sit back and relax in the garden while a private chef takes care of everything. Then, unwind, and relax in the soothing bubbles of the hot tub, with a glass of wine in hand, for the ideal end to the day. 

Bloom of the Bay

A gorgeous “chocolate box” thatch cottage nestled in rolling Kent countryside, this home looks like it's been pulled straight out of a fairy tale – complete with charming 15th-century beams, opulent furnishings, and brightly coloured flower beds.  

However, don’t let its rustic charms fool you, this cottage is delightfully cosy and luxurious. Start your day dining in the conservatory while you observe the beautiful gardens outside. However, although you're peacefully secluded, you’re still within range of sights aplenty. 

Shop at beautiful market town Tenterden, which is known as the Jewel of the Weald, and is only a ten-minute drive away. Or reconnect with nature at the wild Romney Marshes, less than twenty minutes away by car. Meanwhile, you can taste wines at the vineyard Gusbourne Estate – less than ten minutes away on foot 

And when you retreat back home, languish in the glowing hot tub, which is elevated to help you take in even more of those beautiful sunsets. Inside, you can settle back in the electric reclining sofa with a glass of local wine and a good book.




Neptune & Rose

Tucked behind a private road just minutes from the dunes of Camber Sands, this relaxed family retreat is all about breezy beach days and slow evenings in the garden. Inside, you’ll find four stylish bedrooms, a sociable living area with sink-in sofas, and a bright kitchen built for big breakfasts and seafood suppers. With an enclosed lawn for little ones to play and a peaceful setting near Rye Golf Club, there’s space here to stretch out, switch off and settle in. Whether you’re exploring the cobbled streets of Rye or catching the last of the sun on the sand, this coastal haven blends comfort and calm with everything you need for a memorable seaside stay.

Camber Calling

This enchanting home is perfect for large family groups. The home is split between the main house – which sleeps ten – and a cosy cottage for two, ideal for a couple seeking a touch more privacy. There are plenty of quiet corners for moments of peace on this 15th-century estate, with excellent walks to enjoy right from your front door – your four-legged friends will love it here. The heated swimming pool and tennis court mean there’s lots to keep little ones entertained, too. 

Charing Charm

On the outskirts of pretty little Orlestone, this sixteenth-century Grade II-listed cottage is picture perfect – so much so that it was featured in the Wealden Times Lifestyle Magazine. Beyond the manicured gardens are comfy rooms packed with original features, ideal for hunkering down. Pick your spot on a plump sofa with your feet up on the pouffe in front of the wood-burning fire, catch forty winks in the dreamy beds under Egyptian cotton sheets and patchwork quilts or tuck into your hosts’ homemade cake around the antique dining table. Spend glorious summer days on the lawns sprawled out with a picnic, enveloped in the sweet scent of the rose bushes while industrious bumblebees toil away in the foxgloves. On more adventurous days, don your walking boots and explore. Set off past the pond, through shady spots and open fields, eventually arriving at the Hamstreet Woods National Nature Reserve. After your yomp, a slap-up feast is well deserved; gastro pubs and tearooms await in nearby villages, just a short drive away.

Overlooking fields and woodland, you’ll find grassy tracks directly off your doorstep, though if you feel like a more challenging hike, head to Smallhythe Place or Brockhill Country Park.

With a privileged address in the heart of medieval Rye, this home is the perfect base for an East Sussex break. You’ll have a light-filled courtyard for warm weather drinks and a garden for leisurely gatherings. Inside, the rooms are perfect for families with plenty of space to relax, socialise, cook or catch up on work. Parking is available here and it’s just a short walk to local restaurants, galleries, shops and Camber Sands. It’s also a great base for exploring Hastings, Battle and Dungeness.

Play croquet on the extensive lawn or simply spot the wildlife – if you're lucky, you may see rabbits, badgers and the occasional deer. 

Inside, there are even more options to keep your family or friends occupied. Listen to some music on the Bluetooth sound system, channel your inner Mozart at the electric piano or bang out some rhythms on the drum kit. If music isn't your thing, watch a movie in the cinema room or play some table tennis. After all that activity, unwind by the open fire if it's chilly, read a book on the Barcelona-style chair or have a soak in one of the freestanding baths. 

With so much to do here, you may not find the time to explore, but if you do, you'll be rewarded with magnificent beaches and charming towns. Hastings, with its bars, cafes and music scene, is just over fifteen minutes by car, while it's the same distance to Rye. Camber Sands is Twenty-five minutes, while Great Dixter House and Gardens, built by architect Edwin Lutyens, is a ten-minute drive.

This striking holiday home was a pump station built during WWII to support the D-Day landings. Concrete walls are softened by stone grey tones, warm wood, and luxurious furnishings in this stunning home. This is a cosy, comfortable abode with underfloor heating and a log fire. Five floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the surrounding nature reserve – you’ll be perfectly positioned on the Dungeness Estate, on a shingle beach 3 miles into the English Channel.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside – this cottage is nestled within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy in the area, including walking, hiking, and cycling. You can also visit the nearby towns of Rye and Hastings. We love the views over the countryside from this four-level home and the garden is the perfect spot to soak up the Sussex sun. There’s a wood-burning stove for when the weather turns chilly, too. This is a perfect base for a family holiday.
