We love the ensuite bathroom, beautifully finished with marble. The open-plan living space is flooded with lots of natural light with large windows overlooking London. However, the absolute highlights here for us are the indoor lap pool and spa – perfect for relaxing after a busy day. There's also a residents' lounge, a state-of-the-art gym, and a cinema, so there's plenty to keep you occupied.

It's a twelve-minute walk to East London Tech City, otherwise known as Silicon Roundabout, while Spitalfields Market is a four-minute saunter. You’ll also find a great selection of cafes, restaurants and bars right around the corner, while Old Street Station and Hoxton Overground are a short walk away.

We love the contemporary decor in this London apartment. Located in the hipster’s paradise of Shoreditch, you’ll have popular Spitalfields Market and the curry houses of Brick Lane within walking distance, and the rest of the capital is just a Tube ride away (Old Street Station is a five-minute walk and Liverpool Street Station is only a 15-minute walk away). The home itself boasts masses of outside space - the sociable living area opens out onto a balcony, and a separate vast terrace with a table and chairs is accessed from one of the bedrooms. You'll have urban views and a nice spot to relax in on a mild evening before heading out for a pint in one of the many local pubs.

The decor is quite corporate and not the most soulful, but it's certainly comfortable and we think it's ideal for work trips. You'll have access to communal facilities including a swimming pool, gym, and cinema theatre here, and while there is the potential for some outside noise, this can easily be remedied with earplugs. When it comes to exploring London and its attractions, the location and proximity to public transport make this home shine.

There’s an air of New York to this warehouse loft with its brick exterior, fire escape stairs and huge Crittall windows. Once inside though, you’ll see this pad is all East London cool. Located in hipper-than-hip Hoxton, this funky flat is full of colourful character and fascinating design elements. From its large, leather L-shaped sofa to its pendant lights and eclectic posters, this space is made for living it up and winding down, both in equal measure. We love the main room’s loading doors that open up onto a balcony and the steel desk that will make working from home a treat. The kitchen, too, is a masterclass in industrial chic with its AGA Rangemaster double oven, wine cabinet and sleek stainless steel countertops. The bedroom, meanwhile, is calm and understated with a detailed wood headboard and artistic prints adding pops of colour. While we won’t blame you for wanting to chill out in your city pad all day long, there’s plenty of entertainment to be had right outside your door. Walk to lively Shoreditch in fifteen minutes, sample Brick Lane’s world cuisine (twenty minutes away on foot) or stay local in Hoxton to discover its countless boutiques, bars and restaurants. After a long day of sightseeing, come back home for a luxurious soak under the rainfall shower, then cosy up for a movie night on the 70-inch LG TV, a glass of wine in hand.

During your stay you'll have access to the building's swimming pool, gym, and cinema theatre, not to mention concierge services to ensure your trip runs as smoothly as possible.

The King's Court

Part of a converted warehouse in East London, this smart studio really packs a punch. It's bursting with personality and, despite its petite size, there's plenty of space to cook, eat and relax in style. Three large Victorian sash windows bring in plenty of natural light, while the kitchen has stone worktops and brand new German appliances – budding chefs will love creating their favourite dishes here. We especially liked the quirky House of Hackney wallpaper, featuring a colourful cast of animals, which you can admire before settling down for a great sleep in the vintage-style bed. Outside, you're in the perfect position to explore Shoreditch's restaurants, fashion boutiques and buzzing bars – this area is known for its independent spirit, and for good reason. And, if you want to head into central London to see the city's most iconic sights, simply hop on a local bus to arrive there in around half an hour.
